OK. It really wasn't that good of a win at all. It was nearly impossible to watch at times but in the end I get to continue this thread into the post season. I know some of yinz hate that but others are able to put up with it.

Matter of fact, there are 30 other NFL teams that we lose that game to. The Browns are just snake bit this season.

On a serious note, even though it was mostly back up players on offense, the defense gave up too much with mostly starters in there. Can't do that in the playoffs. Especially the run defense cause Ajayi will get a ton of touches against us.

Landry got it done in the end and while that is great let's hope we don't have to go back to him at any time during the post season.

Now it's time to take this team and increase the winning streak to 11. Have to focus on one game at a time though.

I think some of the defense might've been playing a little bit not to get hurt. Idk tho. Either way we rolled in there without a single one of our stars and a back up QB and pulled out a W against an NFL team. Can't argue with that. I'm sure the coaches feel good about the effort out there.

Now let's go whip up on the phins next week!

I guess it's gonna have to be 11 wins in a row instead of 4

Consider that with less than two minutes in the fourth quarter and in overtime the defense stepped up in the red zone big on both occasions. The victory was there for the browns and the defense kept it away. Great win

As a Steeler fan I'm not impressed because we were lucky to win against the worst NFL team in history. The Browns left a lot of points on the field. DHB saved us 7 points causing a touch back off a pick 6, recovering that fumble at the goal line is another 7. The Browns failed to kneel on the ball & attempt a game-winning field goal...

I agree and you could see the difference in this team on defense from the 1st half to the 2nd. I feel that has a lot to do with Tomlin at half. I know there is a lot of people who don't like MT and I am not afraid to post when I feel he does stupid stuff but the defense came out a different team in the 2nd half and he has to get credit for that. jmo

Really? We're criticizing a game in which Ben, Brown AND Bell didn't play? There were some guys out there on D at times that we don't see often and as someone earlier said, they were playing not to get hurt.

Ben, Bell and Brown play in this game and it's totally different. The D isn't on the field constantly getting tired. Bottom line, this was basically a pre-season type game for a lot of these players.

I must have been watching something different. I saw a team shoot itself in the foot, not a defense that did anything to stop it. RGIII throws pick in red zone, Crowell fumbles in red zone, and RGIII makes a poor decision to throw a bubble screen on the 5 yard line when there wasn't any other players on that side to block. Crowell had 7.8 yards per carry with most of the starting defense in the line up and they made RGIII look like a pro bowl candidate.

First team defense played the whole game. We didn't win because of anything we did. We won because the Stains are the most pathetic excuse for a NFL team ever.

The offensive line was terrible vs. Browns. I don't care that Pouncey was not starting. Steelers need ball control offense and they can't get it with the way this O-line is playing. That was a piss poor performance. The D-line will be the Steelers achilles hill moving forward. Too many injuries (Matthews, Tuitt and Hargrave) and the defense overall was poor vs. Browns JV squad. Can't see this team making a deep playoff run.

It was a disappointing effort, but we still got the W. Will need to
    clean it up going forward.

So, you don't give any credit to the defense sticking together and keeping the Browns out of the end zone

The Browns have fought hard in most every game they've played this season.
Tuitt and Hargrave will be back next week.
We may or may not go deep in the playoffs this year, but I personally wouldn't place any bets on any of your predictions.
    You're wrong a lot.
The 9-7 team at best statement you made over and over comes to mind. You said we wouldn't beat the Bengals or Ravens. Plus a bunch of other stuff you were wrong about.

I was optimistic until yesterday. I thought I would be whining about Landry Jones today... and I'm whining about the entire D and the O-line. That is not a good sign. Ajayi will own the Steelers D on Sunday.
