That TD was key to the Steelers winning. A special thank you to Mike Mitchell on not stopping him on the 6 yard line. If the Steelers would have stopped that play on the field we would be looking at the Ravens as the AFC North Champs and we would be fighting to hold off the Browns from trying to play spoiler this week.

The only possible way we would have won would have been using the 2 remaining timeouts and stopping them 3 more times with 1:18 on the clock against a team that was running at will at that point in the game.

I still believe that we would make the playoffs but as a #6 seed and another date with the Rats in their house next week.

So thank you again for that incredible run Kyle. Hope you enjoyed it while it lasted.

Steelers wouldnt get in as the 6 seed, dolphins own the tie even if they lose this week. Only way would be for the ravens to lose to the bengals. I agree good thing they "let" him score. Looks like dupree had a chance to tackle but was just watching. I wonder if they were advised to let them score?

Mitchell came up pretty hard for that to be a "let them score" play imo.

I don't think they were trying to let him score. Mitchell has been getting run over a lot lately and was trying to make the tackle with all his ability. Kyle was just taking over the game at that point.

For sure Dupree and Hargrave to an extent (a little further away). I bet they thought Mitchell had him. All's well that ends well as they say...

I agree if the Ravens do score there the Steelers do not have enough time I believe to drive down the field and win the game. I don't like the Ravens at all but I'll give them credit they hung in this race for the division with the Steelers the last 6 weeks or so and didn't make this easy for them. The Steelers Really had to earn winning this division this season which is exactly what they went out and did.

I was actually hoping he would score there. I knew the ravens would score with no time left or they'd score and steelers would have time only need a FG to tie.

No way they let him score, which makes it pretty concerning they let up an 11 yard rushing TD to give up the lead. I know many have been scathed for being negative about the game, but many aspects of that game were concerning, despite it all working out.

As soon as he got in the end zone I told my wife that it was good that he scored cause it gave us enough time on the clock to try and win it. If he went down it was game over.

It was fortunate that when he scored there was as much time on the clock.

With a four point lead, the Ravens were not going to kick it. So, had the Steelers made a defensive stand, they could've won the game. Thus I don't believe they let them score.

I believe that coach told them to let them in and leave enough time for Ben to do his thing. The same strategy that they used against Dallas but this time... It Worked!!

I agree with this. Defense should have made a stand and forced the rats to turnover on downs. That was the strategy not letting them score.

I wasn't too mad when he scored. I saw we had like a 1:17 left and two time outs, I knew we had more than enough time to have Boswell tie it, and they way we started moving the football for well in the 4th quarter, I knew we had plenty of time to score a touchdown.

I was just scared that Ben might throw an INT. I've watched those highlights a lot this week. If Eli Rogers doesn't snag that catch, very good chance Ben throws an INT there, there was a safety directly in the line of where that ball was being thrown. Didn't realize it during the game, but afterwards was like dang I'm glad Rogers snagged that one. Not an easy catch at all either.

We didn't let him score because our players & coaches is not smart enough to plan ahead like that. Our team just can't tackle worth a damn, it's been like that all year...

Quite. There would be no sense in letting them score unless the TD was inevitable. The red zone defense was fairly stout earlier in the game.
