The second pick was due to a division opponent knowing our tendencies. There are NFL players on the other side of the ball. Sometimes they make a play.

Actually, he brought us back in the Cowboys game too, late into the last 2 minutes. We all know what happened later.

I simply blame Haley considering those throws are just simply throws Ben cannot make.

The defense was playing amazing and he was handing them points. It should have never came to having to put up 21 points in the 4th. Who knows if the defense wasn't out there so much maybe they get the stop to end it as well.

I wouldn't go that far to say amazing, they scored 27. Yes Ben dug himself out of the hole he created, but without Browns presence of mind on that TD this board would have exploded. Ben throws picks like that in the playoffs and it's over...

I agree with this post. I have been a Steelers fan for 45 years and I am thankful that Ben Roethlisberger fell to the Steelers in 2004 and they drafted him. I grew up cheering the Steelers on in the "70's." I can probably still recite players numbers and stats from that era. But from post-Bradshaw to pre-Ben, the time the Steelers should have drafted Marino, it was a mixed bag from the QB position. Malone was decent for a year or two. O'Donnell was decent, Kordell had one good year, and Maddox had one good year, but other than that the QB position has been average at best. Has Roethlisberger left me frustrated at times? Yes. He has matured as a person and a quarterback. The Steelers may or may not make it back to a Super Bowl under Roethlisberger, but I have truly enjoyed Steelers football during his career.

Completely agree. Who wants a dink and dunk qb anyway. That is no fun to watch. The only way he has 50 TD to one receiver is by taking a few risks and letting receivers make plays. He is a bit like Brett Favre. There is not another QB I would rather root for, not even that prepster Tom Brady. Maybe I just hate him because he is good and a cheater. Sorry, got off topic a bit, but I hope we get to play them again, and I hope LT rips that punks head off. Shoot---sorry. Did I mention how much I like our QB. :rawk:

Glad it's green font, ben just thinks he can make every throw and sometimes it bites him...

Ben needs to take less risk in the post season ...Protect the Football take the check down let those guys break some open...If he continues to force balls and has multiple turnovers some Team behind a running game will bounce us out ....Ben can't come back if the other Teams snuffs out the clock..

We need to be the Team doing that, not looking for the miracle finish ...

I agree. Ben has been getting himself in a hole the past few games and then bails himself out. In the playoffs they need to stop that. With Bell they should be a run first team. Then that will setup the play action and Ben can really do damage. That's one thing I think the Ravens do well that I wish the steelers would do better, setup the play action.

The thing with this team is that players are helping/bailing each other out.

    Band of brothers
