One of the biggest games in recent history.
But some of you are running around to every thread and complaining about everything.
Enjoy the fact that we just won our division and punched our ticket for the playoffs.
This game will go down in history as one of the most exciting finishes in Steelers history.
    Give it a rest already!

Agreed. That game took a few more years off my life, but I'm enjoying the victory anyway!

Glad we won , but as I stated in another thread I see a problem with Ben....This not the bone head Ben of old making mental errors this is a smarter Ben making physical errors ...I know you will call me crazy , but I have seen QB'S with front knee problems a lot and I have no doubt that Ben has one that is deeply concerning..

I get it Ben made some mistakes, but he also was a huge part in our win.
You're making my point. We won, just enjoy it!

I am enjoying it , but I am not blind either ...Lot's of Big Ben die hards out there , so it is only right to warn them of the future problems.. Just because we won it doesn't mean Ben is not hurt .....

Good point. A few of us expected them to run the table and make the playoffs like I stated 6 games ago. I expect them to win SB#7 and have taken that position for quite some time. I don't care who we play in the playoffs. If your good enough to win it all you can beat anyone, anywhere. You have to play and beat whoever they put in front of you so there isn't much use worrying about it. It won't be easy but a lot more people believe in them winning the SB now then 6 weeks ago. Give it a couple more weeks and even more will believe in this being the Steelers year. I'm glad they should be getting a couple important players back from injuries this coming week or next. That will help.

I'm not trying to shut anything down, but when we win the Super Bowl the stock in this place is going to plummet.
It's going to shut up all the haters.

I think most of the "complaining" you're referring to has to do with Ben's INTs. Those are legitimate complaints and should be a concern going into the playoffs. He's done that in several games of late. If he does that in Foxboro or KC in January, there won't be a Super Bowl for the Steelers.

There's 3 kinds of people out there.

    1. The glass is always half full no matter what. Everything is great, every player is pro bowl caliber and even going 0-16 is not a reason to criticize the team
    2. These people understand that just because we win, doesn't mean there's not room for improvement. They can enjoy a win while at the same time discussing ways to improve the team so that we can hopefully win the whole thing. They can also discuss the positives when we lose. These kinds of people recognize that things are never as good or bad as they seem
    3. Things are always bad no matter how many games we win. Even if we win the SB, they'll find something to complain about.

Glenn is clearly in the first category, but he's kind of in his own category where he hates everyone in the other two categories as well. I thoroughly enjoyed the win last night. It was the most enjoyable win I've seen since our playoff win against the Bengals. I'm still capable of discussing negative aspects of the game, just like I can discuss positive aspects when we lose. There's things we can improve upon and there's things we did very well. Discussing those things is why I visit message boards. I definitely don't visit them to have a group jerk off session about how perfect we are and there's nothing we can do better.

    Man, so true.

I've been immersed in family time this morning so I haven't read through all the threads and can't comment on complaining, but to each their own. It was a brutal game to watch, and there's plenty to discuss from a critical standpoint. I will say that there was definitely more ugliness in a Christmas day gameday thread than I would have expected. Either way, it was an epic win, and to kill the Ravens season while clinching the division was the sweetest gift you could ask for.

It was a good win, I can't fault Steelers too too much with their play. Injuries have really ravaged us this year. It's amazing to just be in the position we are in on top of the North.

Some people are just so miserable that happy things can't make them happy. These people want to drag everyone happier than them down to "reality" bc misery loves company.

Some people are so happy that miserable things can't make them miserable. These people always try to convince the miserable ones to see the good in every situation but it isn't always as easy as the happy people make it look.

No matter what one side won't ever be able to make the other side see it their way.

Let's just hope we all have something to enjoy in February this year :) I have a feeling that's one thing we will all be able to agree on. Yesterday was the first step on that path!

14 of 15 in the 4th Qtr and 2 spikes to stop the clock. Not bad for a knee problem.

Trust me I don't think everything is always great. I was getting quite a bit agitated last night with Ben. I don't really think I'm on a side.
People were calling the game over in the 3rd quarter. Heck one guy was calling for the whole team to be gutted from top to bottom. In the 3rd Quarter, now I don't care what "side" you're on that's not normal. Some of this stuff isn't really normal, seriously. I mean I'm all about people discussing their opinion, but come on some of these comments are just downright silly.

If we lose that game I'm pissed. We didn't, and won it in dramatic fashion that just adds to our rich history.
Did Ben throw a couple picks? Heck I'm still so jacked up by the win I don't remember and if I did I don't care cause it's irrelevant. We Won!

Is this really how some people want to remember this awesome moment, by bitching about everything that went wrong in the game? Not me.
By the way I just ordered my "Steelers Hold Down the North" shirt.

How was that knee in the fourth Quarter when he went 14 of 17 and 2 of those were spikes to stop the clock?
