AB has 10 times the athletic ability Ward had.

    Both are extremely hard workers.

Hines would and block AB into next Tuesday.

As someone said on TV yesterday when this topic came up. Hines was on 2 SB winning teams. That matters. Not won solely because of Hines, but it matters.

Some of this just isn't true. Ward was never given the defensive attention that Brown has faced this season and in spite what others have claimed, he was never in the conversation for best receiver in the league during his career.

Ward was a great player and a borderline Hall of Famer, but simply as a receiver. Brown is better.

Yeah, I loved Hines. He moved the sticks and had tons of positive intangibles, but I'm not sure he will make the hall.

Some WR's suffer torn ACL's and never comeback in top form or at all,,Hines never had one to tear ,,that alone should get him into the HOF IMO

It matters in terms of Hines legacy, it matters not in comparing players and choosing who you'd want.

Does Joe Flacco's ring matter in a debate over whether you'd have him or Dan marino? Of course not.

Antonio brown is a significantly better WR. You wouldn't take Anquan Boldin over Randy Moss because Boldin had a ring and blocked his ass off.

I refuse to choose. I'm happy we had/have both of them for all the reasons posted herein. They are both very special players.

Based on what type of offense each NFL team runs, 15 teams would want AB and 15 teams would want Hines. I disqualified Pittsburgh from selecting. And since I am from the St. Louis area, the Rams would have selected Limas Sweed.

As much as I love having AB on the Steelers, I'd have to go with Ward on this one.

Because Hines out worked them. AB is a workout fool.

I am torn on this debate(as you can see, namesake) both great ball players.
Hines has a bigger motor, better blocker. AB is truly gifted, separation, hands, route running.
I can't do it, I love them both. Just keep in mind they both played/play for the greatest team on the planet.

AB for sure. I grew up watching Hines, but like mentioned earlier Hines didn't have that "take over the game" ability.

Let's see if AB gets a rule in the NFL made because of him.

I figured with RGIII their QB they would want Ward because they need all the blocking they could get.

They would trade either player for the 22nd overall pick of the draft and select another QB to add to their bust collection.
