This would be incredible. Although, I wouldn't even want to give cowgirl fans the pleasure of making it to the Super Bowl, hope those clowns lose in the divisional round. Also would love to see, and wouldn't be surprised if KC beats the pats.

Out of all those teams, don't wanna face KC in KC. Have a feeling they would blow us out there, but we could compete better if the game was in Pittsburgh...

Couple hours before this post you we're calling for a total rebuild of the team. Fire everyone and start over?

I don't think the Cowboys are gonna make it to the Super Bowl. Call me crazy... but if the Steelers somehow make it to LI... it will be a rematch of XLV. Steelers vs. Packers.

Would be a great story ending. Tomlin would benefit from this scenario greatly..
    1) Beat rivalry in a big game √
    2) Beat an inferior team √
    3) Get the monkey off of the, steelers back of not being able to beat a Brady lead patsie team in the afccg
    4) Bringing back the glory days of a Steelers/Cowboy Superbowl.. with us winning of course
Winning a Superbowl with his players and staff

Everyone is giving the falcons little credit that team has been putting up 30-40 points and that's been without a banged up Julio Jones. They have a for real offense.

I also don't think the cowgirls make it. I fully expect for Prescott to have a bad game which will then lead to an entire offseason of their fans begging Jerry Jones to trade him for picks and draft 7 quarterbacks. I mean they lose one game and their fans were already calling for Romo to come back.

Well considering they've already beat the Ravens and their next meaningful game will be the Dolphins, that's 2 of the games. Despite their warts, I would expect they'd win that at home against a backup QB. It's not a stretch to think NE and Dal get to the AFCCG or SB based on them both being 1 seeds. Frankly, if the Steelers went to Foxboro for an AFCCG, I'd be stunned if they kept the final within 10 points.

That being said, they're not blowing it up before the offseason. I still think there needs to be an overhaul of this team, because they're wildly inconsistent on the road and struggle with mediocre teams. As great as Brown and Bell are, they're likely not going to be able to afford them both and keep parts around them that will make them effective (everyone says the reason AB struggles is they have no #2 WR to take the heat off him).

I am not a huge fan of Tomlin, I think they win in spite of him, not because of him.

Their ST is still a great concern.

Their FA signings have not been anything to write home about (Mitchell, Green (injury concerns)).

As exciting as that win yesterday was, they still gave up 27 points to a pretty average (or below average) Raven offense who hadn't scored 27 points on the road all year. That doesn't scream that the defense, despite being improved, is really fixed. Their leading tackler and leading sacker are both on the wrong side of 30.

They've won 6 in a row, but who have the really beaten? The only good team in that run is the Giants, which was a quality performance.

If you choose to not see the problems, that's your right. You can still hope they win and recognize that improvements need to be made. In a perfect world, you still win while fixing things, but depending on what your definition of win (games won, division title, playoff wins, Super Bowls) that can change your perspective.

I think people are remembering the Falcons that were a 1 seed a few years back and flamed out in their 1st playoff game at home. I think some of the Falcons offense is a product of playing lots of dome games and who they play. Panthers were down this year, Saints never seem to have a defense, Bucs are on the rise and they played the NFC West and AFC West. Raiders defense wasn't great early and GB wasn't either.

The decent defenses they played on the road held them to mid 20s or less.

The Defense was put in a tough position all night !
How many Ravens drives started inside their own 25,i can name two that started at their own 40(thanks Bos)and 2 more in our end (thanks Ben)..
The D is shaping up nicely at the perfect time IMO

I won't disagree that much of what the D dealt with was not of their own doing and they were gassed by the 4th Q but they did allow the Ravens to go 75 yards with the game on the line. If the Ravens bleed the clock a little more, the Steelers don't get the ball back with enough time to rally. They miss some tackles which allowed some extra yardage (Mitchell) and did allow the Ravens to drive into Steelers territory on every drive until the end.

I thought they played well given what they were dealing with, but I'm still not comfortable with them closing out a win.

Only problem with us making a playoff run, Ben still has his lapses where he makes bad throws during a game and kills drives and gives up points because of his picks: Ben has had picks in 9 of his 15 games this year for a total of 13, thats an alarming stat, even more odd is his QB draft class Rivers has 19 picks and Eli has 16, is it a trend after 13 years in the NFL that these 3 are just careless with their throws, the worst thing a QB can do in the playoffs is throw picks, period????

Can't knock the defense because of the score. Missing tuitt really hurts. Our D is what it is, above average with spurts of elite and spurts of garbage.

Our championship falls on Ben. The line and Bell are doing their part

If I was Tomlin I would have a poster board made with the schedule and highlight all those lost games and check them off as they occur with Superbowl 51 as the ultimate prize.

I want this scenario. I want the Steelers to beat the Patriots in Foxborough for the AFCC. We'll worry about how the discussion about Tomlin will have to change, after it happens.
