With his history of concussions I would be shocked if Tomlin gives him a chance on Sunday. That is really to bad; He has been a nice mid range threat in the passing attack. I wonder who will fill that void especially with Coates having a hamstring problem. The other TE's are just going to have to rise to the challenge.

Too bad Keisel isn't still playing - at least we'd have the RED part of the Christmas GREEN and RED ;)

I think he is also out. Don't count out Tuitt though, that man is a warrior and will do anything to play this game. To me, it's obvious who "fits that void" because Green has been out most of the season, and it is Jesse James. Obviously he is not as athletic is Green, but he is a great TE who IMO blocks better than Green in the run game and we NEED that in a game vs the ravens.

I thought James was a piss poor blocker?

I have spent a lot of green this Christmas, which I am sure 90% of the people
have on this board. getting serious we needed Ledarius big, Jesse and others will have to step up.

I was looking at that hit he took, if he got a concussion from that his issues are more severe than we thought. He might need to hang it up.

I thought it looked somewhat innocuous too. I guess looks can be deceiving though. With his history of concussions and the headaches he apparently (allegedly) experienced throughout training camp and into the regular season it does cause one to be a little concerned about his durability.

I would be shocked if Green plays another down in the NFL.

Players out on concussion protocol averages 8 days out from playing. With Greens history it will be longer. Just hope he can come back for playoffs if we get there.

Im talking about how it doesn't take much for a guy who has concussion issues to get another one. Like towards the end of Aikmen and Steve Young's career where they would just fall over and get a concussion.

It didnt look to me like Green took a big hit.

Hey man, if concussions are an issue it happens. Just look at Merril Hoge.

Not saying it can't happen, but what are you making this prediction off of? Have you personally evaluated him? Are you a Dr. Do you have access to his medical history? I know the answer and it's no.

The dude gets a concussion last year and has lingering effects that kept him from playing well into this year. He comes back and gets "tapped" and he is in concussion protocol now. That's not normal.

I've seen Heath take worse shots numerous times.

Yes it appears to be concerning.
Look at Hargrave and Thomas a couple weeks ago, they both got concussions during the game and both ruled out for the game the following week. At least Green isn't ruled out. That has to be a good sign?
Still think it's silly to say he may "hang it up"

Why is it always the Bengals game that causes injuries that effect the next game the Steelers play in that just happens to be a key game? Granted it wasn't an illegal hit, but every year they take out at least one Offensive weapon.

They might actually sit everyone. AJ is not coming back for a meaningless game.
