If Tomlin cannot win another SB with this personnel then I suspect he is not the right coach.

 

First thing to come out of Whitlocks mouth in a long time that I agree with.

 

Lot of people here and around football would agree

 

I love Terry for what he did for the Steelers, but some of the stuff he says is pretty dumb.

 

Compared to the immortal Chuck Noll he is a cheerleader...and I believe that is what he is comparing him to. Personally I don't feel that Cowher was a great coach either which Bradshaw stated. Tomlin is a good football coach...

 

Here is an ESPN article about said subject. BUT take a look at Stephen A Smith's rant. It'll get you fired up. I agree 100%. Steelers better step the F UP! The Ratz own us, and tomorrow should be treated like the Super Bowl.

Bradshaw is right, Tomlin is not a great coach. But he is more than a cheerleader. He is a good coach. Tomlin is tied to Big Ben. When Ben is "on" Tomlin is good but when Ben is "off" then Tomlins team is unprepared.

I think the "cheerleader" thing was his way of saying that all he does is "motivates" people because Tomlin does have a good reputation for really being able to motivate his players. Just a guess though.

I seriously thought about starting a thread once that was asking every member to simply pay one compliment to Mike Tomlin. I guarantee you there are some Steelers fans that couldn't think of even one. When it comes down to that it's just pure hatred and that makes it impossible for pretty much any of their analysis to be taken seriously. Cowher had his share of haters too though. I heard him tell a story once of thinking he was gonna have to fight a guy at a gas station because the dude was so mad about the season we were having at the time.

 

The problem is not coach T ...KC has left him without quality Defenders ,Tomlin should make KC be more aggressive in the draft and in FA ....I would also like to see the Steelers trade some guys get great draft picks for them and then turn around and get those guys back later on the cheap like the Pats do....

With that said if we come out run,run,pass like we usually do against the Rats I will be highly upset at him and Haley ....

 

I'll give it a shot. Tomlin seems to speak English well. How was that?

 

When you did it the first time I was thinking "oh no he didn't!" but when you spelled it that way a second time I knew it was on purpose, lol! I was getting ready to zap you!
