yeah you should be good then. Yeah I have kodi too and lately its been pretty bad streams. Maybe it'll be better since its a primetime game. You can also get free NBA TV on your phone thru the Go90 app if you are into NBA.

I'm a nurse and have to work on Christmas day, as do many other people, and I know I'm not getting paid what they do, so I don't feel badly for them. Not in the least. It's their job.

Yep, me too and every other holiday and it sucks. I'm fortunate that I can break away for a couple hours to at least have some dinner with them but Id rather spend the whole day together.

Hell, I've been deployed for so many Holidays I forgot. Nothing like spending all of them with 368 of your best friends in the middle of the ocean while doing slow boxes waiting for something to happen.

I'm in that same boat too. I love Direct Tv and after I moved into my new house last month made an appointment with them to set up (I wasn't optimistic to begin with because I'm surrounded by so many trees and live in state game lands although some in my development can, I guess it depends on exact spot). Wasn't able to get it as I figured, however a couple weeks later direct tv now comes out and from what I researched Direct tv/AT&T by 2020 wants streaming to be it main video platform. I really hope this is the case because it would really help people like me who have to settle for a cable company we don't want. My cable company offers NFL network and Redzone but you have to pay an arm and a leg to upgrade and get it.

There are two games on Christmas and Sunday is the normal day for football.
I agree though I'd rather they didn't play on Christmas. It has to suck for the players, especially the road team.
It definitely makes it a challenge for some fans to watch the game. Not because of the network it's on, but for the conflict it causes with Christmas Day events for the fans.

It's already a source of tension for me and my wife. We're going to her Dads house for Christmas Day. He has NFL Channel and says it cool to watch the game. My wife doesn't think it's right for a few of us to be stuck in a TV on Christmas Day.
I'm watching the game. That's who I am, that's who I've always been.

And on CBS at 4:00PM on Sunday, MVP: Superstars &Their Dogs. Hosted by Boomer Esiason. Kind of football related right?!

The wonderful NFL is just arrogant and big headed. But the ego machine is starting to take a hit. Viewership is down, and I believe will continue to go down. Over saturation, horrible games and disinterest. I rarely watch other games other then the Steelers.

What I don't understand in my area if the Eagles are playing at 1:00 on Fox or CBS the other has NO game. You would think that the greedy NFL would have changed this. Also I believe the fantasy football craze is not about fandom in most cases, all's you need is a smartphone to get stats.

And the NFL Network is hard enough to watch, listening to their riveting commentary, with their band of talking heads...

Great job NFL. But on ABC their is a WHOLE day of NBA :lolol: Goodell is so smart...

That's the NFL!!! "NO FUN LEAGUE" aka "Scrooge"Goodell at his finest!!!! Trying to push his brand on the most holiest holiday in the entire world. "Thank you baby Jesus" where families need to come together as one and renew relationships forget about all that is wrong in the world and share love, memories, and hope for today and the future. Its reported...that Goodell went down to the local orphanage and invited some kids over to spend the Christmas holiday with him they declined!!!! So Roger will be spending Christmas alone bundled up in his "Patriots Snuggie" Kraft gave to him a couple Christmas's back before "Deflategate". I'll be watching it at my sister inlaws who is a Cowpokes fan who is hoping for a Steeler lost!!! "Scrooge" she thinks Dullass is going to the Superbowl and don't want the to face us.:steelflag:

Owners can address this and other issues effecting their players lifes at the annual owers meeting, but they won't because they are financially invested "obviuosly" ching...ching...Americas traditions and values are slowly being exported away by all these greedy millionaires. What have they done for their fellow man?? Oh yeah dig deep to their pockets without even a reach around!!! Go NFL!!! Go Steelers!!!

I consider myself a diehard Steelers fan but I do have limits and perimeters in place to give me a reality check, that it is truly just a game and certain things do take priority over my fandom. I do attend live Steeler games if they are on the west coast!!! My latest...last years Steelers and Chargers game had a blast!!! This year none, had to much going on personally...family first. Wife gets me Sunday ticket because she's also a Steelers fan every year she calls and trys to get a discount nothing asked..nothing gained!!. In my life time been to the Burgh about 6 times....hope to go in 2017 if all stars align if not I got my Sunday Ticket. Bottom line I don't let my passion out weigh my pockets. Go Steelers:dancing:

My sister's father in law is a Browns fan (and a fan of any team playing the Steelers). They had planned to go their for Christmas Day but, when she found out the game was at 4:30, she told her husband there was no way in hell she was watching the game with them lol.

It's hard and I feel your pain!!! Retired Military here although I'll never complain for serving my Country it's what i signed up for and will never regret it!! Just my experiences if you will!! Alot runs through your mind of Holidays past...a chance to be with the ones you love and love you (my Comrades) helped me fill this void as we only had each other so we made the best of it, it was fun!!! Public service comes with much sacrifices, but all the good you do to help mankind and we need alot of help !!! Comes back two-three fold. It gave me pride and admiration to know that im from a Country that is free to truly enjoy the reason for the season the birth of "Baby Jesus" and that my family was safe because i serve. Since my retirement i would not change anything I would do it all over again. God Bless America!!! And the Steelers!!!:steelflag:

NFL Sunday Ticket, or NFL Network? Unless something has changed recently, here in the US Sunday Ticket is only available on DIRECTV.
