So, if you don't have the NFL channel...you're not watching Balt @Pitt?

I have it, but my in laws don't, which is where I'll be. I guess I'll join the teenagers on the couch and have my face in my phone for the evening

Wow the first time being Canadian pays off. I get the 4:30 games. Most of the 1pm games I get screwed out of. Sorry to those who don't get the game. That's BS!

The NFL wonders why viewership is down. This is why. Hey Roger there's a reason Pittsburgh fans travel so well to other stadiums. Because they are popular. So hey lets not air them to the general public. Smart thinking! I wouldn't pay for Sunday ticket even if I didn't get the game.

I usually post the TV map. Since I assumed it was on national TV. I didn't bother. Pittsburgh and Baltimore local markets will get it.

it's not on Sunday ticket, because it's on NFL Network. I'll get to watch it myself- but yes, this is damned inconvenient for people- because how many bars are going to be open to have it on?

This should be one of those commercials about having/not having Directv. LOL! SERIOUSLY sucks for all those that don't have it though. ALTHOUGH it WILL be shown on NFL.COM in real time if you want to watch it there because they do show MNF and Thursday night games on there. If you have an HDMI cable just stick it in your tv and pc and voila you can watch the game.

Reading some of the posts is hilarious.
If you want to watch the game you will watch it. Not that hard to do. There are a lot of options.
    $30 for a fire stick.

Most providers allow you to log into your account online and watch the game. Get a Chrome Cast for $30 and watch it on your TV.

At the in laws? Have them call thier provider and get the NFL channel for a month and pay them for it. $10 or maybe even free.

    There's other options too.

Not sure why people think they are entitled to the game for free.

Glad I have DirecTV and ditched Time Warner Cable for my TV service provider back in 2010. Last game I missed was the Browns road game in 2009 during the "unleash hell" era. TWC didn't have NFL Network.

Where do you get that we want the game for free?

I said they wonder why the ratings were dropping and gave this as an example. Jump around and try to find a way to pay for the channel just to watch a rivalry game on Christmas Day or make it available for the nation and see if you get great ratings?

You just proved that if you want to watch it, you'll find a way. If not then most will just "Meh" and go about their Christmas Day.

I already have an option to watch the game from the Gamepass app and a VPN. My only complaint is the delay I have when I watch from GamePass.

I've fired it up when I'm in Japan and the game is on Satellite and GamePass can get up to 2-5 minutes behind. (Normally it's around 1 - 1 1/2)

Last I checked Direct TV is really low for the first year and you have to purchase extras like HBO, SHOWTIME, NFL Sunday ticket is free for the first year. They always have specials for new comers. If you get really desperate just get you a splitter and tap into your neighbors Direct TV box.:roflmao:

DirecTV is cheaper than cable and you get more, IMO. I live in a rural area and Time Warner's TV service is awful. Most of the channels are not in HD. I crack up at local people with nice fancy HDTVs and Time Warner TV service in standard def. DirecTV's mid-level packages are cheaper and have more channels. I get HBO 3 months out of the year when Game of Thrones is on and it's only $17 more a month on DirecTV.

This is the game you have to find a way to watch!!! Division title on the line the Ratbirds Locker room is somewhat in drama mode...the receivers Wallace / Smith Jr. are pissed at Flacco because he's not spreading the ball around. Smith has some personal battle going on with exteammate Mitchell who has to keep things in perspective no crazy( PI'S) we have more important things in mind. The backs want to carry the rock more Hairball publicly calling out the Offensive coordinator, Defense missing Jimmy Smith etc, etc, etc. No doubt they will be amped up to play us as usual and play scrooge and ruin are progression. Steelers need to shut what run game they have completely down and double Wallace so he won't get his targets and go into meltdown mode and Flako has to go to other receivers who are not that, great as of lately. Gonna be a great one Folks!!! I truly believe if we keep everything in perspective and get into all the extra crap that obviously will take place we win handedly. Go Steelers!!! I want my Christmas present a "Division title".

Lol you have to have a L data plan or higher and then its free. The only data that isnt free is for commercials but they give you credit data to cover that.

Probably because basic cable these days isn't cheap like it use to be. I know I pay $90 a month so I would expect them to show the only two football games on regular cable, but that's not the case these days.

Your right though about the many options. You can watch it online or go to a sports bar.

I agree. Think it sucks for the players and also for the fans who can't watch because of family obligations.
