So, if you don't have the NFL channel...you're not watching Balt @Pitt?

You wonder why they're losing viewers.

    You have Christmas Day

    A marquise match-up of a division rival

    For essentially a play-off spot

That is placed on your own channel instead of a National Broadcast.

    Makes sense doesn't it?

If a viewer has cable TV, it only costs 10$ a month to get the NFL network added to your package.......

The game is being televised on WPXI locally, though.

...but not those of us who use gamepass, not ****ty sky sports coverage.

The number of blackouts for steelers games this year has been ridiculous!

My wife, at least, is pleased the NFL has to wait until Boxing Day...

Gamecast is almost always at least 15-30 seconds behind at the least. I've seen it as high as 3-4 minutes.

Free local programing ref. sports is basically of the pass. I seen the handwriting on the wall when analog was put to death. Having to view cable and satellite, we the people have been shafted into getting premium packages or... pickup those free fuzzy scrambled commercialized hard to read between the lines black market networks. :goofy:

Would Sunday Ticket have an NFL Network exclusive game? I don't think so.

Wow didn't realize it is only on NFL Network... Local Pittsburgh people should still get a broadcast on CBS, but outside of the city area it most likely won't be aired other than NFL Network.

That bites. I canceled cable about 2 years ago. Thankfully I can still get radio broadcasts online, but it is not the same.

I don't regret getting rid of cable, only thing I miss is ESPN for Monday night Football, but hopefully that will change in the future.

Mine is the same, Diamond. I just know that some rural cable providers don't offer NFL Network, or don't offer it without upgrading to much more expensive package.

Guess CBS wasn't acrobatic enough to flex Heidi this Christmas (for those old enough to remember).

I completely agree, I do have the NFL Network, but they should definitely put all games on Christmas Day on national channels. I don't have the NFL Package though so I'm stuck watching Florida teams and usually they are terrible. Never mind I don't care for any of the Florida teams anyway. I rarely get to watch the Steelers on regular cable. Especially with the Bucs and Dolphins being relevant for once.

I think they should make Thursday night football good matchups like Sunday night and maybe put it on Friday night. I think more people would watch it Friday night than Thursday night cause a lot more people are off of work. Can't put it on Saturday night it'll clash with college football.
