It's a trend with the Bengals. Dirty Burfict and Dirty Pacman will do whatever they can to prevent Steelers from any playoff advantage. It's happened two years in a row. 2014/15 with Bell's knee. 2015 playoff game, Burfict took out AB. Bengals know Steelers have a snowball's chance in hell when one of the big 3 is absent in the playoffs. No chance Steelers beat Patriots at Foxboro in AFC Championship without all 3 healthy... Ben, Bell and Brown.

 

I'm a realist. I don't view the Steelers situation with black and gold colored glasses. Yes, I do come across as negative. But, it is all justified with facts and truth.

 

What about that trend of losing in December you spoke of, was that factual?

I hope Ladarius Green can be the savior of this offense. If this guy can make a difference today and on Xmas vs. Ravens... I'll be more positive. Right now... Steelers O is one dimensional without Martavis Bryant.

They've lost like 10-15% of their games in December since 2013. That's not a trend of losing that's a trend of domination and the best December record in the league over that time period.

Nothing wrong with criticizing the team, but nonstop doomsday bull**** is just that. I don't have to throw out doomsday predictions followed up by chicken **** statements like "I hope I'm wrong" If you're going to predict it own it!
When we win the North and kick but in the playoffs it'll be that much more gratifying knowing that I supported my team. Much better than talking trash on them all year and then showing up at the parade cheering!

This team is not Super Bowl caliber... and I'm not gonna get all rah-rah and "have faith" and "believe" and all of that idiotic bullcrap. I don't care about potential and "what ifs." I go by what I've seen over the past 13 games. This is not a team that will go far in the playoffs. I've been a fan long enough to know when a team has what it takes for at least an AFC Championship appearance. This team is not that team. I hope I'm wrong... but the inconsistent offense and a green/rookie defense is not gonna get it done in January... if there even is a game after the Browns game.

I'll be the first to congratulate you and admit I'm wrong... if the Steelers should win the AFC crown. I don't see it happening.

 

Because.... next year, the Steelers may be better suited for a playoff run. Right now, this team is not going to beat Patriots/Raiders/Chiefs on the road. Sorry... not gonna happen.
