Game day refs

I read a lot of whining on here during the game day threads about how the refs are against us, blah, blah..
Personally I think the refs generally do a good job and are unbiased. I also believe in Santa.

But, the Bengals fans have brought it to a new low. I went slumming over on one of their message boards and there is an entire post already complaining about the refs for Sunday's game.

Jiminy Christmas, the game hasn't even started yet and they are already bitchin.

What you witnessed was a temporal phenomena and that was actual bitching about the game after it was over. You see their fans are so whiny that their collective bitchin' broke through the space-time continuum. This is actually good news about how the game turned out for us.

 

Kinda like Charger fans complaining if Hochuli is going to ref one of their games.

 

You can get banned for that?

 

The NFL gave them ammo this week. Why would they put a guy from Midland PA in charge this week. If one things goes the Steelers way it's going to be because he is from Western PA.

 

That Bengals MB is crazy for its conspiracy theories.

 

Who cares what Bengals fans think? They're only good for a laugh. I've always thought Ravens fans were dumb, but fans of the Bengals are a special kind of stupid.

 

In past seasons I've been a bit weary of reffing of Steeler games. Although this year I haven't had many problems with the refs...i Did miss two games early in the season though. For the most part, I think the Steelers get pretty fortunate- we usually don't have stern/stiff reffing for entire games...I've watched some games (often Packers) that has pass int. or holding being called every minute.

 

Why should they care!!!Bengals are irrelevant this year anyways.

Going out to clubs in the 80s, I didn't mind the guys that dressed up like Miami Vice or the girls that dressed like Pat Benatar but, it creeped me out to see the guys with the "Seagulls" haircuts!

 

The refs have a tough job but just like I believe in hockey about the consistency of calls, if it'd a penalty in the first it should be in the last as well.

Ideally I'd like the refs to impact the game as little as possible bug it happens. If also like to see the team take advantage of when they are swallowing the whistle instead of being the bigger team. Of they are allowing Harrison to be held grab their guys the same way. If the are letting DB's clutch and grab then clutch and grsb.
