Timmons keeping D grounded.

Just saw a post on DaBeards Facebook page that said Timmons refused to compliment the D saying when you have played for 10 years with the likes of Troy P, Deebo and Kiesel you know what "great" D is. Seems like he is trying to give the rookies and newbies some perspective .

 

He's right. Thanks for sharing.

 

and if the young guys keep playing the way they have been, they will be spoken about in the same way years from now.

 

Good. Do not want these victories to be too emotional; Vontez Burfict and the Bengals awaiting doubly so.


Glad to have Timmons keeping things in perspective. Let's the rookies know that the journey is yet to be completed.

I am sure though that Artie and Sean are learning these lessons well in winning, losing and life in general.




The journey is currently reaching the base of the mountain; one that is yet to be climbed let alone seeing the top. Perspectives on what lies ahead is a must for leadership.
