Harrison is playing some great football for a 38 year old. I think he should have been inserted into the stating lineup earlier this season, but it is quite clear that the defense is much better with him in the game. Dupree back is also a good thing and Chickillo/Moats are contributing a lot more now as well. I don't see how anyone can defend Jarvis at this point. The team is blatantly better without him.

Timmons is also playing great. I am unsure why so many people were calling for the team to move on from him. I think he is essential and should most certainly be brought back next year. He is also pretty fast, as evident on his INT return. I thought it was Sean Davis with the pick until I saw 94.

The D-Line is also playing much better now. My guess is that it is because they are rotating the players much more now so they are more fresh, as opposed to before where it was just Tuitt and Cam the whole game, they were tired in the 4th quarters. I would have to look, but perhaps they are using more 3 lineman sets rather than their usual 2.

Overall, we should be pleased by the way the defense is progressing.

Timmons makes a little to much right now but I would hate to see him go. I hope they can work it out because imo, he is still a top 10 inside backer

when timmons got the pick i was like damn HE IS FAST! it was crazy seeing that speed on him. I guess he burned the jets knowing he would get a break coming up.

Will be sad to see Timmons go should he not like the deal the team offers.

At any point, this defense is gelling at the right time. Best of all, so are the rookies. Here is hoping Javon can play next week. If not, Ricardo can definitely do well until then and I hope Daniel can the same.

Look, I have no problem with Timmons number, but he did NOT play well earlier this year....period. Maybe he was pushing to hard or trying to do to much to help the kids, but he was underperforming what we needed from an ILB. The last couple of games....his old self. Again, maybe Davis and Burns and Hargrave have stepped up enough to help his issues, but he has been much better. I hope it continues.

..........and didn't you get deja vu just for a minute flashing back to 92's pick of Warner in some meaningless game in the past? I sure did - think I ruined my TV screen helping 94 along with my fingers. That plasma stuff is really sticky! :clapping::clapping:

I don't know the dynamics of how the coaches choose to hand out responsibilities when injuries happen. The coaches stated that Timmons played better when he didn't have the responsibility of calling the defense. Shahzier took over calling the defense in 2015. The injury to Shahzier could have impacted the defense in more than one way if timmons took over calling the defense again while Shahzier was on the sideline.

Actually Moats isn't doing much either. He played 8 snaps yesterday to Jones 12. Jones registered half a tackle and Moats nothing along with Chick. Oh another not our secondary played every snap and Gay 56 out of 60.
