Steelers Predict the Score Game Week 14 Pittsburgh vs Buffalo



Welcome to 5th edition of thesteelersfans.com Steelers Predict the Score Game.

Follow the rules below and make your prediction. I'll publish the results after the game in a post on this thread. There will be 2 ways to win (a weekly winner and a yearly winner).
This weeks Game is:

Pittsburgh vs Buffalo

This week's tiebreaker is Steelers completions


The rules are simple. Whoever predicts the correct winner with the score closest to the actual score wins. For example if the score is Pittsburgh 28 Cincinnati 21 The method of determining your score is to take the value of the difference of your guess of the Pittsburgh score and the value of the difference of your guess of the opponent score. You also must pick the correct winner to make your pick valid. In case of a tie, the tiebreaker is used.
For example if TTFs prediction is 35-21 Steelers he would be 7 points from the actual score…..35-28=7 21-21=0 7+0=7.
If Ray Ds prediction is 30-18 Steelers he would be 5 points from the score and he would beat TTF………30-28=2 21-18=3 2+3=5. If either had picked the Bengals they would have automatically lost due to the fact that they were not the winning team.

In the unlikely event of a tie (YES Donovan it could happen) we will just go with closest to the actual score.
Also if a player is questionable please make sure and delete one of your guesses (ie with ben 31-10 without ben 7-10. I always take the first score regardless.

I will be awarding points for the first 10 places and including a bonus of 3 additional points for making a perfect prediction. I will track cumulative point totals and the number of times you make the top 10. This contest will end after the steelers last game of the season.

The deadline to make your picks is 1 minute before the scheduled start time.

So 3 games and you call it a trend. What about all the years the won in December. Didn't Tomlin at one point and time have the longest December winnining streak. This is the time they are normally firing on all cylinders

 

The Bills game is a trap game if I've ever seen one. They just came off a horrible loss in Oakland, up 24-9 late in the 3rd quarter only to lose 38-24. I don't see the Bills going into a tailspin... they will be pissed off and the Steelers offense better be ready to put up some points. I bet the Ravens beat the Patriots next Monday, just to piss me off.
