Donald Trump embraces a Russian leader, calls him a stronger leader than the President, though his government shot down a civilian plane and has hacked into our elections. Americans yawn. More than 40% are going to vote for him.

This is one effed up country.

 

The national anthem is more than just a song. The rub is, or should be, that you don't do it on company time.
As for Trump, both choices suck so...............

 

It is just a damn song. That's all it is. How much importance you placed upon it is up to you. But it is a song. It will only be a song. It will only ever be a song.

Just like the terrible towel is just a piece of fabric. If you allow yourself to get butt hurt over people defacing it, it means you have placed waaaaaaay too much importance on it.

As for Trump: you completely lost the point. This isn't about choices. This is about him doing far more offensive things than Kaepernick and being embraced for it.

 

I didn't miss anything. Trump does offensive things and has followers. All politicians do. Offensive is in the eye of the beholder. I look at Trump's antics as just more nonsense in the circus that this election cycle has become.
