new dynamic duo

So far they have not found their replacement and franchise QB to replace Ben. The clock is ticking. He has 2 maybe 3 left in him.

 

to me its like the perfect storm at this point. bud and chick are in similar spots as far as playing time. the dynamic duo part comes as we move forward with these two. if bud becomes the force we think, it should help chick as well. they seem to like him and as they improve together the fact that we can bring them along together in this defense should help them both along. i do think our future is these two and where they are at this point. i see so much more upside because of moats ceiling thats been reached, harrisons age and the fact that JJ has not reached his full potential with so much playing time and basically flat lining in upside as a potential starter. i do believe signing chick at this point will be fairly easy.

 

I am a man of few words.. Wait.. Actually no I type far too much and nobody listens hahaha.. I think your right .. The future is Dupree. I am not sold on Chick yet. Would be nice and I am optimistic. Just dont see it. It would be so nice to have someone other the JJ on the outside but I am still reluctant to think it could be Chick.

 

All the steelers need to do with ERFA is tender them a minimum contract of around 500k. The player then cannot sign anywhere and has no leverage other than to hold out.

He cannot reject the tender and become a free agent like you stated.

 

I think Chick is just another guy. I will still draft at least two OLBs and signed a possible free agent to pair with Dupree.

I like both ball players, that being said An OLB/edge rusher is still needed. Possibly two.
