But it was against a back up QB.

We gotta stop the stupid celebration penalties!

Some more fine tuning needs to be done.

Other than that this team can be Championship caliber.

I know I consider myself a realist but some of the post lately have been down right scary I mean deep dark places scary, let a good win sink in guys we have plenty of time to talk about this one. WE can take tomorrow off and maybe Sunday talk about the what ifs and but umms.

I guess Tomlin didn't have them prepared enough , they should've won 35-0.

    To want perfection?

I love the Steelers with every core of my soul but if you can't see there are many things to improve upon to get to a Superbowl then it must be partial blindness. This team is good but you have to take it to total complete greatness to win that trophy.

Well yea but even if we won 63-0 and the Giants game 56-3, we could probably lose the following 13-20. A win is a win.

2 bad road teams with short rest and wins. 16 total points allowed.

    I'll take it

Man the amount of eye shadow that Nimoy is wearing right there is enough to make a Valley Girl blush. No pun intended. LOL!

Got to remember the other teams get paid to play as well. There is no gimmie in the NFL.

Our offense didn't play well in the second half. Perhaps because they had a big lead. Perhaps because between the Steelers' and Colts' first drive each, it was the 4th quarter.

Nonetheless, the defense gave up no points in the second half.

The Steelers scored >1 point more than the Colts.

The defense is what is most troubling to see. They gave up too many third and longs to a back up QB that never plays. If the defense doesn't get their **** together, even winning the division, we will be one and done in the playoff's.

    Unrealistic to expect perfection.
The other guys are pros too.
Do the have things they need to improve on? Sure.
We won by 21 points be happy.

We see the difference in the 3 TD's Brown got when their are other receivers getting the ball. Even though Coates couldn't catch a cold(he has broken fingers) yesterday it made a difference in how their defense played. And for those who said Green wasn't contributing well that should be put to rest. Although they struggled at times it was a balanced attack. Good to see.

The Defense is not a finished product by any stretch but are chipping away. 3 rookie starters. And all contributing. Two things I don't want to see from this defense going forward, Timmons in coverage and Jarvis Jones. Was great to see Dupree get playing time and contributing although the stats will not show it.

Back to back wins were much needed. This team had to learn how to win again and finish. Check. 5 more to go.

Agree. The offense was balanced, and the results were there to see.

On the first Colts drive the defense looked like Blitzburgh of old.

I think they tired a little in the second half.

But there are bad teams in the NFL. And we beat two of the worst. Which I really don't care because losing 4 straight is terrible. I guess what most are trying to say is we are waiting to beat a contender. Or one of the top tier teams. But like we always say, win is win.

good win. happy about that but we ain't that good. the colts dropped a lot of balls. too many penalties. yes DD i'm talking about you. this game could have easily gone bad for us if. no use sugar coating it. we have to play better for the complete game if we want to move through the playoffs. the G-men will be a nice test.

well backup qbs normally light us up so I will take that.

at least we got in the endzone to celebrate so I will take that

fine tuning always needs to be done.

this team is and has been championship caliber. its a long season

I disagree. There's only 4 teams in the NFL that are championship caliber and the Steelers are not in that group: Patriots, Raiders, Seahawks and Cowboys.

I agree with all of this, I am happy as heck we won and I don't care who it was against I want the win. Now with that said this Colt team is bad, forget about the QB position the defense has given up 29-34-22-30-23-26-26-30-26-17 and now 28 to us. So our offense was right there with the rest of the league, I think where the problem is at least for me is the fact that twice the Colts were down at the goaline and came up with nothing but could have. There were several dropped or over throw passes that could have changes this game in a very bad way. I loved how this team came out with pressure and then where did it go? Was it the Colts who adjusted with 2 backup lineman or did we lay off?

I feel the NYG will be a very big test to see how far this defense has come. I thought they played very well in the loss to the Cowboys but the run D got cut up a bit...probably due to the fact of how good the Dallas oline is, jmo. Loved seeing 8 sacks on the Clowns and last night we got off to a fast start but I feel like we let off some. Yes we have improvement but as long as we keep winning it is all good and maybe come playoff time we get everything figured out.
