I see 10-6 as a real possibility, but I think there's a really good chance of winning the north even at 9-7.

I think at Buffalo is a loss, but nothing else where we shouldn't be the favorite (even with a junk defense). We seem to have the Colts' number lately and always seem to play well in Cincy. If Ben gets hot look out. Games and game plans change radically if the Steelers are up 14-0 in the first quarter.

I've said it a ton lately, but it's still true: just get in the playoffs and we will make some noise. I think last year's defense was nearly as bad as this year's and we were a Touissant fumble away from the AFC Championship game. With AB playing it wouldn't have been close.

So basically start winning and hope the rest of the north keeps stinking.

Can they just win a game first? That is the real question...

The one saving grace is the Ravens schedule is a lot more harder than ours.

However we need to win. The one thing I like I think the offense is coming back to life again. Eli Rogers, and Cobi Hamliton are coming along. I think Coates, and Wheaton are going to be rare sightings given their injuries, who knows how much we see of them.

    Pass protection has been good.

Bell is being Bell, and Brown is being brown.

With Green at Tight End and it will help open James up in double tights passing situations.

I have zero hope for our defense. We have to plan on putting up 30 plus a game in have a chance.

I think they lose to the bills, they wont beat the 6-3 giants, the Gs defense is playing very well now and Eli and Beckham will feast on this secondary, I see 3 more losses and a 8-8 record, be leery of the colts as well, playing them in Indi wont be easy, and if we lose one of our division games we will be 7-9.....

I guess with this team I don't see them rattling off a bunch of wins. This team right now is average with above average talent at certain positions. Problem is there doesn't seem to be a lot of team unity this year. You have guys fighting internally and questioning each other in terms of work ethic and dedication. I think the Steelers will end up with the first losing record under Tomlin this year. Yes that is 4 more losses. Giants, Bills, Colts and Bengals I feel will get wins against us. I also think the Ravens could get us since that game will have definite playoff implications. We are not a team for whatever reason this year and it is going to result in an ugly finish to the season. I hope I am wrong but I don't see it turning around with our defensive leader on IR along with the other rash of injuries.

I played around with this yahoo playoff predictor and apparently if the steelers beat the ravens and win all the division games left, the steelers get the division if the steelers and ravens both finish 9-7 and ravens lose one to the bengals. If the ravens win all their division games left except the steelers game they win a the tie breaker at 9-7. So basically need the bengals to beat the ravens once or steelers to finish 10-6.

Whoever it is... will probably be one and done in the playoffs. Oh well... at least the winner can wear AFC North division champs hats and t-shirts.

you never know. steelers win the north and host a wild card game, the opposing team tomlins their way to a loss. Steelers get lucky vs the next team that suddenly went cold. Tom Brady got a flu before the AFC championship game, and dak or wilson chokes in the SB and we win the superbowl as a 9-7 team.

What im trying to say is, better to have 1% chance than 0%.

The Giants went 9-7 in 2011 and won the Super Bowl. It can happen. Problem is... Giants 7 losses that year were mostly close games except against the Saints where they were blown out. But unlike the Steelers... even in the blowout, Giants managed to score 24 points. Steelers have been totally annihilated by the Eagles and Dolphins.... two teams that didn't even sniff the playoffs the year before. The Saints had a good team in 2011.

yup you are totally right. There is something wrong with this team. Still, I would like to see them 1 more game than not when the season ends, regardless of how it hurts our draft and feelings.

I think if we get in that means we must be playing better. if we win 6 out of 7 or something like that, I like our chances going into the playoffs. remember pats didn't kill us without ben

We're in deep **** without Cam. Hopefully Bryant can get his life together and come back next year. WE MISS HIM BADLY.. Especially with Coates pretty much rendered useless now with his finger. Give Burns plenty of playing experience this year.. Have Green develop some chemistry with Ben.. Tag Le'veon this offseason, and go all in next year. My outlook for the rest of the season is very bleak.

Agree. If we actually go 6-1, or even 5-2 down the stretch, we won't be looking like the dumpster fire we've seen the past couple of weeks. That's a pretty big IF though.

The tie hurts them, the Steelers could possibly go 11-5 the best the Bengals could do is 10-5-1.

I so agree with this the ravens have a tough schedule with Dallas, NE, Miami and Philly. Add the bunholes twice which I feel is key and us.....we have to take care of business. Now look at Cinny they have the Bills and Philly, 2 key games vs the Gayvens and one vs us, I don't know what to expect from the Texans. Now us we play at the Colts and Bills and home vs NYG, 2 vs Clowns and 1 vs each of the Gayvens and Bunholes. If we get anything from our D I feel we are in good shape but without Cam this is scary.

Now what I want to talk about is the Offense, so much is made on how good it is. With that said I feel we can win vs the NYG, Indy and both Cinny and Balt if they play like so many people think they can. Hey if we win games 38-35 I am fine with that, but I think it is time for this offense to step up and carry this struggling defense.

I know everything looks doom and gloom but if we can step up and be the offense we are suppose to be we could end in pretty good shape.......I know I know I am looking at the silver lining but hey why not there is plenty of time to be all negative after the loses. Look at the West everyone is talking about how great they are, well guess what lets see in 4 weeks after these guys play each other and that will change their records.

We have guys that at any day can be the best at their position in AB-Bell and Ben. Throw in Green coming into the mix and maybe Dwill coming back and it may be time for this O to take control and carry us like our once great D did so many years ago.........Hey man you never know :herewego!:
