Not sure if you have looked at the standings but only AFC North team making the playoffs is whoever wins the division. No wildcard for anybody in this division.

Yeah that was priceless to watch the kitty's lose a close one after a bye no doubt.

Not as close as the score indicated, the giants did the kneel down for the last two minutes........

^^^ This. There are 3 teams in the AFC West with 7 wins already. Steelers have to win the division or they will be sitting at home again watching the playoffs and farting into their couches.

Exactly, I think the AFC West will have 3 playoff teams. This isn't as uncommon as you think it happened a couple years ago in the AFC North.

    Raiders-Win Division
    Broncos-Wildcard
    Chiefs-Wildcard

Patriots will win the AFC East

I'm not so much sure about the AFC South.
I think in the end it will be the Texans

    As for the AFC North
It's either the Ravens or us.

The Steelers have lost four in a row. What if the ravens and the bangles would have won all of their games in that same time span? That would've made it near impossible for us to climb back into the race for the division.
So other division teams losing does mean poop even if the Steelers are losing.

Now eventually it'll catch up to us so we better start winning and take advantage of the opportunity in front of us.

it was a rhetorical question geez......lol poorly worded perhaps I admit

Just saying we need to beat all of our divisional opponents. It's too far out to predict playoff scenarios imo, but beating the AFC North teams will be a start.

Because when the Ravens stack the box like they did against the Steelers, Prescott and Co. will complete passes. :lolol:

Unfortunately, I believe you are correct, here. I was thinking the same thing immediately after the loss to the Cowboys. The Steelers are in a state of emergency.

This. The Steelers need to win while they can still control their own destiny. And all of the teams left on the Steelers schedule are winnable games if the team can focus on execution.

Steelers have to prove they can win on the road. Cleveland would be a good start. Colts and Bills games could end up brutal...if they play like they did vs. Dolphins, Ravens and Eagles on the road.

2009 season. It was a nightmare and I remember it like it was yesterday. Steelers lost 5 straight to the Bengals, Chiefs, Ravens, Raiders and Browns after winning Super Bowl XLIII, 9 months earlier. Two of those games were lost in OT... vs. Chiefs and Ravens.

I can't disagree with you. At all. The Steelers are absolutely abysmal on the road so far, this year.

When I say they are in a state of emergency, I mean it.

Uh, If that happens, I`m done watching football unless weeks later I read somewhere we got back into 1st place.

Even if the defense is just as bad as on Sunday, all we need is the offense to play as good and we will win that game.

LOL yep. I mean I know we don't necessarily want to depend on the them to further our standing but I think its pretty evident we need some assistance this season.

0-10 teams are like defective land mines. Everybody walks all over them until they unexpectedly explode and take you out

Have the ravens losing to cowboys, pats, steelers, and bengals once. 8-8
Bengals losing to steelers, ravens once, and the eagles. 7-8-1
steelers finish 9-7 losing to the colts and bills.

Luckily 9-7 should win the division
