To the Giants last night 21-20 to drop them to 3-5-1. So that means if the Steelers win their next 2 games on the road in Cleveland and at Indy on Thanksgiving and the Ravens lose in Dallas Sunday then lose the following week at home to the Bengals the Steelers will be back in 1st place. The Steelers have a gift this week when it comes to the schedule seeing they play the Browns and the Ravens play the Cowboys. You absolutely have got to take advantage of this and win this game on Sunday.

how is a conference opponent losing a good thing for the Steelers? If we want to to be a legitimate SB contender we should handle these teams with ease. Right now, it is a toss up. Deciding games vs the steelers is a simple act. There's too much interference to judge otherwise......

What do you mean how is it a good thing?? It keeps the Steelers from having to worry about for now contending with the Bengals to win this division as well as the Ravens. As I said win in Cleveland and Indy the next 2 games and the Ravens hopefully lose to both Dallas and the Bengals which is a good possibility and your back in first place by the end of next weekend.

I'll admit that I'm puzzled about your question. We're in a 3 way battle for the division, and the more that the other 2 teams lose, the better for us. Yes, we pretty much control our own destiny and want to beat both of those teams to knock them out, but when the season ends the division champ will be determined by overall record first. We don't need them to lose, but it sure helps - especially given that we have a tendency to blow a game here or there.

Can they please just get a win over the clowns first? Sure it would be great to have help and really this team needs all it can get but the only thing that matters is a "W" at this point. This team has forgotten how to win. And if you think this game against the clowns is going to be a walk in the park your sadly mistaken. This game is their Super Bowl.

How many times we think the Steelers have a gift and when they open it, it turns out to be a Cobra? I remember one year 5 teams we played stunk. Two of them were CLE and OAK, we lost all 5

I'm guessing Turtle misunderstood the post.

Its always a good thing when our division rivals lose.

As far as us getting a gift, Ravens had the same gift last week. Now they get Dallas and we get Cleveland.

I always hate playing winless teams this late in the season though, each week that goes by, they are more likely to finally win one, and you just know it would be the Steelers way to give it to them.

I don't see that happening. If the game was in Baltimore I'd say maybe but I don't see them winning in Dallas with as well as the Cowboys are playing now.

Other teams losing doesn't mean poop, if the Steelers can't win games. Focus on beating Cleveland, then move on to the next one.

Your on to something there, the rats have had two weeks to prepare for this game, and they can stop the run, nobody needs to think this is going to be a walk in the park for the cowturds, if flacco can put a solid game together for a change the rats will win this game, hairball has beat the patriots before when no one said he could, so why not the upstart cowgirls?

Nothing is wrong with me. The Browns will block better, tackle better and execute plays better than the Steelers on Sunday.

With the exception of the Redskins game.... the Steelers have played like complete garbage on the road this season. Cleveland, Philly, Miami... hell it don't matter. Steelers can't win on the road and they've shown NOTHING in the past month to make me think they are going to beat anybody outside of Heinz Field.

If the Steelers don't win Glenn, they can't get ahead.

Cheer on the Cowboys, but we need to cheer on the Steelers more to win Sunday. If we lose sunday, stick a fork in this season.
