Its a Shame

When you look around the league and see the problems that a lot of teams have with their QB position,(the Browns a extreme example), Its a shame that our Steelers, have/are wasting the time left for our franchise, future HOF QB Big Ben. The window is closing fast. I dread to think what this franchise is going to be like when Ben calls it quits. I don't know who's fault its been over say these last five years.
All I know is its a F'n shame!

 

It's been that way for years. Last year's single playoff win was the first in many years. We will look back on these years as a significant waste of opportunity.

 

I am a big BIG BEN Fan, but maybe just maybe some of the blame should fall on Ben as well,its not like ,Wilson or Rogers have that much better talent around them,which one of them has an AB, Leveon, etc

When the franchise QB doesn't perform and play with consistency this is what happens to a team that doesn't have a great defense to carry the team.

 

With this offense we should be lighting up score boards. Hopefully Ben gets back to playing good ball again.

 

We have to accept the fact that Landry Jones is not the answer... he does not have the pedigree to play in the AFC north Division as physical as it is he can not thrive and be successful. We have to take the best QB vailable in the 2017 draft period.

Ben played well enough today. Just stupid penalty a again. Every game we get them

Some of these games over the years have been on Ben , his last game winning drive has been more than 3 years ago I believe BUT today was not his fault.
When your D gives up 200 yards to a no name rusher it's a problem, when your D gives up 35 pets at home without the O turning the ball over it tells you it's a problem.
It starts in the middle and I can't knock Hargrove too much cause he's just a rookie but if he can't take on 2 blockers the linebackers have to be exceptional and then some, ours are hardly that.
Jarvis should have been traded a year ago, Moates is a backup as is Chick. Harrison is 38 and should only be situational and Timmons is old and cannot create what he never had in speed. he certainly isn't worth the 17 mil he's getting at the present but hey God Bless Him theSteelers kept restructuring. It will help to get back Bud Dupree but I can't see him doing much this year.
With a healthy defense we are still average but with Bud out.......we really need a pass rusher.
Burns has potential but of course he has to trust himself to turn to look for the ball and of course strengthen his hands (his positioning wasn't bad tonight). William Gay has always been.....William Gay and it's time to put the old dog to rest. Very disappointed in our safeties and the bad angles they continue to make.....didn't help that Shamarko is a bust.
