Ravens have to lose tonight for the Steelers to have any chance

I can never imagine the production meeting for Battlefield Earth where they said: "let's get Travolta for this. It just screams out for him. It's the role he's been waiting for his whole career..."

 

Well the thing is it was his idea to do Battlefield Earth because Hubbard had asked him personally to do it and it was originally supposed to be a two parter but the second part was never made... for obvious reasons... LOL! I think the book is like 1,000 pages and the movie only covers the first half of it or something like that. But I definitely know what you mean in spirit because who could ever see a disco dancing and line dancing pretty boy as a 9ft tall alien? LOL!

Well the rats didnt lose, and if the bungles beat the giants sunday and we lose to dallas we will be in 3rd place in the division.....

 

Well a win still puts uswith the same record as the Ravens at 5-4 with 2 games still against the Browns and a game here at home on Christmas against the Ravens, while the Ravens still have two games against the Bengals and road games at Dallas and at New England. The schedule still favors the Steelers and as long as they don't fall flat on their faces they should be back in 1st place in the next 2 weeks or so.

 

Not true. If we end up splitting with the Ravens, the division games and the common opponent games become important. We have already played the Eagles (L) and Redskins (W), we could really use another win.

Truly, I expect this team to come up big this week. Even if we lose, I expect us to play well. We play up or down to the competition (other than the Patriots) so I expect us to be really good on Sunday. Stop the run and make the rookie throw the ball. Then, bring the house at him as often as you can. Yes big plays may happen, but if you get to him a couple of times....you are going to get some turnovers.

 

It was lebeau who beat rookie QBs not butler so far, I havent seen much pressure from our front 7 to get the job done yet, and this is no average Oline we are going against, so pressuring Dak remains to be seen, we need to stop their running back before we can even think about going after the QB, the defense has a full plate in this one, are they up to the task????
