I think it's time to clean the house. do what the raiders did after Al Davis passed away. they go rid of the the coach, got a new GM, got rid of some high priced unproductive players, and a new attitude. it took several years to come around but look where they are now.

    Hmm....

If such a rebuild ia happening... then there is far more wrong with this team than just talent/personnel mismanagement.

Such a rebuild would indicate a pre-2013 "Pittsburgh Pirates" level meltdown has occurred and would lead to the front office.

We don't rebuild anymore. We just "transition". Not sure what it's gonna take to make that happen really.

We are putting all the marbles on Ben but his clunkers are sinking the team. Defense isn't elite enough to bail us out like in 2008

A 4-3 base on defense would be a good start in '17. Draft a good DT and pass rushing DE... or acquire them in free agency. Move Heyward to DT... Dupree, bulk up and move him to DE. Use Williams as MLB... Shazier and Chikillo as OLBs. Secondary should improve with experience over the next 8 games... draft a CB or two in the mid to late rounds for depth.

On offense... we need a good TE. Get one in Free Agency if Green doesn't do anything for the rest of '16.

Coming off a bye week no less and performing the way this team did, points directly to the coaching, after the raiders beat the broncos last night in player interviews when asked what turned them around to play so well, they said it was the coaches that did it, so i'll leave that alone for you to ponder when thinking of our coaches who once again got out coached.....

I was an advocate of the 3-4 scheme but I'm starting to change my stance. Heyward and Tuitt at DT, Dupree at End and draft another DE with pass rush ability. I think we can wait on the secondary unless someone falls to us. Cockrell, Burns at CB. Gay might have another year. Golson in the slot and Sean Davis at FS and Golden at Strong. Mitchell is a bunch of you know what. He's another "Anthony Smith" . Talk a bunch but never shows up.

You can't do that with Ben still at QB, you HAVE to give him another chance to win another SB. Fire the coaches and make the team step up. You have the players, just do it.
