The Walking Dead (no comics spoilers)

Well there was our breather I hope **** picks up next week. At least we got a little info on this new group............

 

Real glad you brought up Zeke and Carol, while I was watching it I was like wtf is he doing? I mean you don't get a place like the Kingdom by opening up to just anyone. I just thought it was a little strange how Zeke is the man in charge and he spills his gut to little ol Carol after only the 2nd time they meet.......naw not buying that.

As far as the tainted meat not sure how that will work out as with Bob they killed off that group to quick to find out. I know I loved it and it showed me that all it is gonna take is a meeting with Rick and the rest and we are going to have all out war.

I hope your wrong about next week and I am not saying I want a fight scene every week but I want a little more then just a background on who everyone is. I know we had to have it but now let the action start, let the story start to develop. For me it is not about the blood and guts, yeah that is nice but I am all about seeing how the group reacts and how these groups are going to get together.

One thing I am wondering is where is the flying Jesus, wasn't he with Morgan? Also one last thing Rick's group was going after the Saviors so that the Hilltop group could give them half of their supplies because Rick's group is getting low on supplies. Well now what is Rick's group going to do since they don't have supplies and Negan wants half???????? Hmmmmmm

 

No I caught that but maybe it is just me, I don't trust anybody and I don't live in a zombie world but if I did I certainly would trust someone I just meet 2 times and spill my guts to her no matter how much she reminded me of me....jmo.

Ok I thought Jesus was with Morgan when we last left off and was wondering why he wasn't there with him. So if Maggie takes over Hilltop that still leaves Ricks group having to give supplies to Negan...which they don't have. Now do you think Rick joins in with Hilltop sure but Negan won't care he will still want more, something is gotta give. Maybe this will be how Rick loses his hand????

 

Thanks for the updates, everyone. I didn't watch Sunday's episode and probably won't because of too much Carol.

I have always been a fan of Carol, but I thought this episode was a bit much. It was also kind of dry overall.

I had the same thought as TTF a couple of times. I was thinking "I bet Lady Steel will really hate this."

 

Denise was one of those characters I started out not caring about, but ended up really liking. I was bummed when she was killed, too.

 

So, will King Ezekiel and Carol do the mattress mambo? Will she become his Queen? Do people really want to see that?

 

What? You don't want to see Carol being tempted by Ezekiel's low hanging fruit?

 

Welp, at least we have the show tonight to look forward to.

 

That was a ****ty episode, my son and I were sitting here saying there are more commercials then show. I am not sure what was worse the watching the Steelers today or the Walking Dead!!!! I know Blast you warned me but man that sucked. I am fine with the slow down but crap man the amount of commercials vs show was bad.

 

I loved the episode, as well. Poor Daryl is right. Eating dog food sandwiches and then having to see that picture of Glenn. Just brutal. But, he's a fighter. I was so happy he didn't cave in to Negan and said his name was Daryl while looking him straight in the eye.

Like someone said on Talking Dead, I wouldn't have put it past TPTB for Negan to have killed Daryl this episode. I kinda thought it might happen and was worried.

I think Daryl and Sherry have great chemistry. I would love to see them together so much more than Daryl and Carol (blarf). Daryl and Carol just don't have "it" as far as a romantic relationship is concerned.

I think Dwight might save Daryl in some way down the road and die while, or because of, doing so.

That music was enough to drive anyone bonkers.
