With today's technology if you want to watch the game at home it's pretty easy.

Sunday ticket is the easiest. The whole season costs less than a ticket to the game.

If you know someone with Sunday ticket just get their password and you can watch it on a mobile device. Then just go to Walmart for $30 and get a chromecast and you can plug it into the USB port on your tv and link your mobile device. Super easy.

Firestick or firebox is pretty cheap and easy.

    Somebody always has a link.

Go to a sports bar or Buffalo Wild Wing sand watch it for the cost of a meal.

I laugh when I read some of the comments in this thread each week. "The game isn't televised in my area guess I'll go rake leaves or play golf".

I have my son alternate weekends, so going to a Steelers bar is out half the time. I'm not going to poach satellite broadcasting (not judging, just saying) -- DirecTV is very aggressive about that.

figures. I didn't think I'd get the game so I told my wife that I'd go to this play that she wanted to see. Oh well - at least I can score some good hubby points.

Map says So Cal gets the game but the Direct TV guide says Jets-Fins. Fortunately Direct TV will search for the correct station to record from if it does show on local CBS and gets blacked out on Sunday Ticket channel. Two weeks ago the early Raiders game ran late and delayed start of Steelers-Pats broadcast but at last minute Sunday Ticket started the game and then blacked it out about 20 minutes later and switched the recording automatically back to local CBS. At the end of the day though it really didn't matter.

We get quite a few Ravens games here in Richmond. For once this year, I am glad. :)

Crap, I'm from Ligonier/Johnstown area in PA., but I've been living in the Montana,Wyoming, and Black Hills area for the past 10 years. I was a farrier [horse shoer] until I had a heart attack and moved to Sturgis S.D. a couple years ago. I had a heart attack and died on August 30th this year, and they revived me in the ER.
Then they put me in the Fort Meade VA Hospice right here in Sturgis because they don't expect me to live too long - they gave me 6 months to live 2 months ago, so that puts me in the grave around Super Bowl time. They don't have any way for me to get the Steeler games here. I only saw 1 game this year, and according to the map I won't get it this Sunday either.
I usually watch the local games - Broncos and Vikings, but I put the TV on mute and get on the computer and go to the Steeler website and tune into Steeler Nation Radio and put on the headphones and listen to the Steeler game while I watch the Broncos or Vikes.
Its probably a good thing because I get angina real bad when I get stressed.
If I don't like what I'm hearing on Steeler Nation Radio, I just take off the headphones and turn up the TV for awhile.

Hey hey hey what's wrong with golf????? Lol, very well said Glenn, today here where I live it is sunny as heck and yes the golf course is calling my name and yes I have leaves to rack but I pay for the Sunday ticket so I can't miss these games......especially this one. The part about people complaining about not getting the game makes me laugh, DTV does not cost that much and if you call each year you can get the ticket for like 150 and sometimes free. I live in Jet/Bills & NYG area so I very rarely get it on regular tv, the ticket is a must have for me. Sports bars are not an option either as I live in a small town(pop 1700) and not I didn't marry my cousin, lol and there is no sports bar. The closest one is about 40-45 min away and that makes for a scary ride home after the games. So what I could have spent on gas and food/drink I spend on DTV, just my choice not telling people how to spent their money everyone has there own choice.
