Why wouldn't they? What does his contract have anything to do with it? If ownership thinks a change is needed, they'll fire him whether there's 2 months or 20 years left on his contract

I can't believe it has its own acronym. Wow, just wow. I think he is not the best coach, but that is some next level trolling there.

Hell no to Harbaugh. He does not fit the Steelers at all.

Actually, that started on the Steelers Official Message Board when a board member there used to use it for Bruce Arians, FBAI.

Now anytime someones head is called for, trolls er, I mean, fans will automatically fill in the appropriate initials. Believe it or not, even Dick LeBeau wasn't safe, there were FDLI posts as well.

Jim was the highest paid coach in football last year, not just in college but including NFL coaching compensation, his salary including incentives/bonuses was 9 million dollars, why would he come to the NFL when he has job security plus top flight compensation at Michigan????

Ego. Unfinished business that he didn't win a SB.

If he comes back, it won't be with the Steelers, though.

In case you didn't know the Steelers don't operate like the Browns, if the team makes the playoffs then he doesn't deserve to get fired.

It's a team loss when they lose, the coaching staff does deserve some blame but I put more on the players though. Players play and coaches coach, when a team has penalties and turnovers in a game that's on them.

When they win, do you also put it more on the players?

The fans are sure operating like Browns fans - playoff appearances and 1 and done are considered successful seasons.

Sad how much the standard has been lowered.
