Society and its BS is alive and well in the league. Is what it is when people prop the asses up. Too many non humbled athletes jerking around.... Taking their gift of athleticism and the money for granted. No one is bigger than the team, other than the ones whom are paid and treated like they are. Glad Tomlin jumped his ass. Wish he'd do the same with the star vets especially those who shouldn't be playing regardless of their lobbies

With 24/7 media we know every little detail nowadays but I'm not sure that it was nuch different when The Chin was coach.

Jerome Bettis -- "He (Cowher) never fined us for anything. You came late, you never got fined. You never got reprimanded for anything."

You just got inadvertently spat on later when you made a fool out of yourself on the field. LOL!

Good point - it's a Tomlin thing after all.

Oh, and you don't help your argument by making stuff up. Davenport's incident happened before he was drafted.

    By Green Bay.

No, you mentioned some of these discipline issues didn't happen when certain players were still on the team and I proved you wrong. A couple of the issues happened when Cowher was the coach. I'm sure I can put together a list of issues that happened while Cowher was the coach if you'd like. I'd only be proving you wrong once again.

Bam Morris' trunkload of weed happened on Cowher's watch. What else?

As I pointed out above, Davenport's issue was before he was drafted by Green Bay.

So you go into the game planning on playing just 3 healthy receiver with a healthy scratch?

A game you could possibly win and need to win in the overall strategy for the season?

This team does not play like there's a overall goal. there should be key games they should be planning extra time for throughout the season.

I seem to remember Kevin Henry getting drunk and threatening his wife. Porter getting shot was on Cowher's watch. Ben's Motorcycle incident? Joel Stead and his Steroid suspension? I'm sure you probably don't remember any of that though do you kid?

Wasn't Burress habitually late for meetings? Noll wasn't much better really. Those guys used to go out and get into drunken bar fights all the time. Like many have said with the media coverage it just seems to be happening more.

Haha - pulling out the "kid" reference. Weak sauce.

How does Ben getting hit by a lady running a red light reflect poorly on Cowher?

Don't recall Henry, where's the link?

Steed got popped when something he took from GNC that showed up in a pee test. Far different than players showing up stoned for a team flight. And then getting stoned multiple times again after the first suspension.

    And Porter? You're reaching.

    Your argument contains much fail.

This is becoming league wide. It's all about me rather than team. Young whipper snappers I tell ya.

Roethlisberger was riding without a license and without a helmet. Both in violation of unambiguous laws.

Not only that but didn't Cowher ask him to wear one?

Anyway, it's silly to act like Tomlin is the only HC with problem athletes on the team.

Talent wise he won the starting slot job and a few bone head plays and bone head moves later he gets benched..I hope he gets the message loud and clear ...Talent is not enough for the Love of all that's holy I hope he understands what he needs to do moving forward... He has a chance to be a great slot WR in the NFL I hope he doesn't blow it..

Starting slot? What is that? Are you talking about him winning the depth chart battle when we use a slot receiver?

I will bet you this BF. Tomlin don't sop Mitchel and ab from getting 15 yards every time they make a play/TD. Tomlin may be gone next year. Us fans get pissed off when we see it. How do you think the owners feel

Considering a coach hasn't been fired in Pittsburgh for 47 years I don't see it happening at the end of this season.

I'm all about discipline when team rules are broken but a bigger part of me is very curious to see what Rogers could of done working the underneath stuff and finding holes in their zone....all they did is sit back and take away the deep part of the field...oh well I guess we will have a few tricks for them in the AFCCG.
