Should give us a little more confidence in our backup QB situation.

I personally feel much better about Landry Jones than I did.

He showed a lot of maturity in comparison to the preseason. He has gotten better clearly.

He had a good game...I still think his biggest weakness is slow decision making.

Just hang on till Ben is back.

Played the type of game you need from a backup. Solid.

We had em situationally behind the 8 ball... 2 missed fgs (one shouldn't have been kicked meaning 4 down ball) a endzone pick a td called back. They really could've beat em with this mash unit. Feel better with Landry coming out of the bye week... But it's divisional so who knows? They should hammer the Ravens but we know how those go.

Played good enough to win. Sadly the coaches didn't but then again his coach didn't trust him and brought in a 15 year veteran, who killed dogs, and couldn't hit a broad side of a barn. But Newport News yo.

How does he play good enough to win when he was missing badly at the end?

    That Pick was absolutely idiotic!

The end doesn't matter if the holding call doesn't negate 1 td drive followed up by a field goal miss, another fg that should not have been attempted a defense that shut down tight end play in the first half and was raped in the 2nd. He owns the end zone pick... Outside of that, the cards fell where they did. Not one play but a few kept the W out of their grasp... And it was there!

It was a good decision, but underthrown. I like the AB vs Butler 1v1, but the ball needs to be 3 yards deeper and 2 yards closer to the sidelines. Also, give him credit for a great deep throw to Hamilton that could have been a game changer had the refs not missed a blatant PI.

He wasn't perfect, and I think he got into a bit of a deer in the headlights mode very late in the game, but he was more like Arizona Landry than Cinci Landry. We can beat the Ravens with him if we need to.

No....Pats should have had 2 more picks and that would have destroyed our beloved Steelers. Laundry needs to lose the glove. The glove is only good for the fast ball and ruins your soft touch passing ability. Even Brady stopped wearing the damn glove on the throwing hand. #stubbornmentality

I brought up the gloves a week ago... Some use them some don't I don't see a need for them or atleast limit it to one, but to each their own... His gloves didn't lose the game and he played pretty decent for what we expected

The Jets beat the Ravens today with a combo of Geno and Fitz. Landry can beat them too.

Steelers need to find away to get off the field on Defense early in games, Steeler D is literally playing two games worth of time on the field
every game. If Pitt makes the playoffs, they will have the most well conditioned players in the league. haha

Sorry, but I'm still not sold on Landry Jones and probably never will be. But, that's just me.

I'm not ready to give him the reigns yet if anything were ever to happen to Ben, but he belayed some of my fears about his playing today. I actually felt like he had a chance to pull the W against all of the odds, and a week ago, I wouldn't have said that.

That int in the endzone was killer though, just a terrible pass. I know Landry isn't athletic but there were a few times the middle of the field was wide open for him to run and pick up yards, even Brady ran and picked up some first downs.
