I'm a longtime Steeler fan from 1965 when I started watching football on a black and white Motorola, and had to use aluminum foil on rabbit ear antennas just to get a picture of the game, when they actually showed the Steelers, usually it was the Browns, and I'm from the area of Ligonier and Johnstown. Latrobe just down 30 a piece.

I'm a viet nam vet and have been living out here near Sturgis S.D the past 10 years. I have health problems related to Camp Lejuene toxic drinking water, and maybe agent orange. My hands are unsteady and my eyesight is slipping. I have to use a magnifying glass to check for typos sometimes.

I died and was revived at Rapid City Hpspital in July, then they put me in the Fort Meade Hospice [room 119] because they don't expect me to live 6 months, which means they expect me to die around super bowl time.

I was hoping to see the Steelers get #7 before I die, but it looks bleak right now. Since I have 100% blockage of my right heart artery, and 90% blockage of the left "widowmaker", and 80% of the other circumflex artery, any stress can kill me.

So, I got medicated to keep me relaxed during this blowout today.

People don't understand how serious us life long steeler fans take this stuff. I'm hoping my steeler fan buddy from Spearfish shows up with a bottle of hooch, I might need a stiff drink too.lol

Hang in there Guru... Thanks for your service and sorry bout the disposition. Best wishes hombre season ain't over yet and neither are yinz. Long time fans understand the seriousness no matter how many times we say well hell its just a game. This team is a hell of a thing to look foreward too high and low tide. Keep making your plans and get yourself better.

There are not many times I can remember were most of steeler nation knew we had little to no chance to win a game since Ben was drafted. We were a SB favorite just 6 weeks ago. Now after 2 bad losses and an injured Ben we've got no chance against good teams and it's only week 7. How does that happen? I know the answer to the question I'm just a little miffed that we failed to improve on our biggest issues from last season.

#1 - Defense is 28th in the league in YPG. AND #2 QB depth is a joke. This hurt us last year and IMO we were playing with fire by not developing a legit #2 Qb. I also think if we don't see improvement soon Butler is going to be looking for a new job. If we miss the playoffs the entire staff should be looking for a new job.

I hear you. I just wrote a letter to the Steelers to tell them how tired I am of winning and only having 6 Super Bowl wins.

Thinking about writing a letter to my congressman too.
Something has to be done about this.

My expectations are low so no need to ruin myself. With Ben out or healthy it would probably be a loss. The Cheatriots have our number unfortunately.

The Defense folds if the Offense is not performing. Can't be relied on and no one fears this unit.

At least the crows lost but unfortunately the bungles won.

Be careful drinking alcohol while medicated. That can cause some serious problems.

Best wishes to you, steeler guru, and thanks for your service. Here's to hoping we get nearly everyone back after the bye week and go on Super Bowl run.
