I get a lot of emails to the site. Many are just people ranting about obscure things about the team, or companies wanting to partner or advertise, but some are questions that I can answer or try to.

Someone just wrote asking how to register their local group as a part of the official fan club. I'm not even sure if there is such a thing anymore now that there's Unite. Does anyone know if registering as a local chapter is 'a thing' and how one would go about doing so?

Sorry TTF, I have no useful information, I just wanted to comment how hysterical it is that fans still write complaining about the team :lollmao::facepalm:

Ancient history now but I used to belong to the Black and Gold Brigade Steeler Fan Club (in 80's and 90's) that had chapters all over the US - they coordinated exclusive Steeler viewing at dozen's of bars/restaurants on Sunday mornings here on the west coast. This was before the days of Direct TV's Sunday Ticket and the internet streaming options. They were based in Oil City as I recall and for a very nominal annual fee they offered exclusive Steeler gear, a newsletter, set up tailgates and group ticket purchases when the Steelers traveled west and annual dinners after the season ended and brought in Steeler players to speak and hand out door prizes. Then one day.........just like Keyser Soze.........poooof........they vanished.

What what what? That's my home town and I don't recall that. Of course I left Oil City when I was 18.

Well - that's where all their official correspondence was postmarked and where I sent my annual $10 member fee. It's not that they necessarily had a huge presence there - just where the founder/grand pubah resided (actually relocated from the west coast).

They can actually do it through SNU. The St. Louis Steelers fan club is on there. I belong to that one.

A good way to find out how to do this would also be to refer them to Ghostbusters fan groups because they have "chapters" all over the world and you have to pay dues and do certain charity work to actually be allowed in. Do the Steelers ones work the same way?

On the Director's cut/track they said they gave us several clues well in advance who the villain was. Supposedly "Soze" in Turkish? means talkative = Verbal as in Verbal Kint and the villain and the corresponding real life actor share the same initials = KS. Lots of other cool trivia buried in that script as well.

    Oswald was a f......f......f.....sissy!

Also it makes good financial sense to get 600 generic Ibuprofen as opposed to 300 of the name brand.
