Why not trade for Fitzpatrick

He likes to throw to the other team too much for my liking. But so does Landry Jones
so no to either QB.

 

I think his point was midseason.

 

Perfect storm and stroke of genius by Minnesota. They actually upgraded their QB after losing him for the season.

 

Not gonna lie this would send me over the top. I have a good buddy who is a Jet fan and for the last year if not more we have been fight over this jackass. I think he stinks and has proven it every where he has went. He has shown he can play sometimes but he can't do it on a regular basis. I can't stand watching him play but he did good the last time he played for us........see last years final game vs the Bills. I rest my case, now someone end this thread.............PPPPPPPleassseeeeeeee!!!!

 

I know.... The example is Bradford came in and in one week started and hasn't lost yet. My point being its possible to be done.... But is not common and requires an uncommon QB which I don't think is available via FA and unlikely t happen via trade.

I was there last year when Jones came off the bench to lead the Steelers to victory against Arizona - and, yes, I've seen all the INT's SINCE then, but I refuse to be invested in the opinion that he can't get the job done THIS year (yet) because I wouldn't be at all happy about being proven right in that opinion.

But Fitzgerald? You kiddin' me? He and the Jets have looked pretty poor this year....SO poor, in fact.......it sort of makes you wonder how we beat them so soundly Must've been the bumblebee uni's....

If they wanted to get another experienced QB to back up ben, they could have signed Nick Foles in FA, and foles has talent even if some of you dont agree, in fact they could still get foles for a moderate draft pick from andy reid..............

A trade is only a $1 million cap hit for us! He's been awful this year, that's for sure, but I think I'd rather take a flyer on him especially if Jones stinks up the joint on Sunday!

 

Do you even watch the games? Fitzpatrick leads the league in ints, he had 6 in one game. I wouldn't want Fitzpatrick to QB my flag football team.
