Congats on all 4 of your posts. It's been real entertaining getting to know you over the past...what....17 minutes?

 

i believe people are not just angry after a loss, but repeatedly struggling with inferior teams for the past 6 years...

 

It's therapeutic for some, Glenn. Might as well get used to it. It's a good place to take our frustrations after a loss and I will always contend that's one of the greatest values of this MB. We'll gripe, complain, criticize, moan and groan and we'll be rooting like crazy next week. If we win, we're Super Bowl bound and if we lose, we'll be lucky to make the playoffs. That's just kind of how it works.

 

Indeed. Sports fans as a whole have different viewpoints more fickle than the autumn weather.

I have a problem with AB celebrations when he gets a penalty and hurts the team, fans are going to vent after a loss

 

Yeah I agree, nothing worse than kicking off from the 20 yard line. it generally puts the opposing team in great field position.

My 2 cents on this matter for what it is worth. Win or lose I try to come here as much as possible. If we lose I try to stay away right after the game because I may type something out of anger I really don't mean. I feel like this is a place we can come and talk about what we like and dislike about our team. There are many good people here who will respond and maybe I will see things different or maybe they agree with what I see. Either way it is fun to talk about and I learn a lot here.

Now with that said there are people here that no matter what are just not happy. Heck I know a ton of those people outside this board, lol! You just have to deal with it, you have choices. You can block them, ignore them or respond to them. IMO, that's what a message board is for we are not all alike and we are not gonna see things the same way. I know one thing I was pissed as hell over this loss and I have no problem posting about it. However I love my Steelers and that will not change with a loss or 10..........

 

I agree, coming on here trying to tell everyone how to post is ludicrous. Like you stated, there are many ways to respond to differing opinions. I just stated mine and some will agree or disagree but that's what a forum is intended to do. Open communication. I've changed my mind on several issues after reading things here. It's all about the team we love and should be fun in the end.
