I thought his KO return was good, thats all he is worth. And that is where
    you will see him used.

Gilbert on Sunday played better then Gay and Burns. From what I saw during the game he should get more playing time. Not sure on his tackling but his cover skills are better and he also has decent size.

He has tremendous size and speed for what Pittsburgh needs.

More than likely though the reason would be that he has not shown enough to unseat the likes of Gay, Cockrell or Burns.

You heard it here first, I'm not above making bold statements and I'll make one now!!!!

Gilbert will play significant snaps vs the Patsies.....!!!

    Yep , I said it....

Special sub package nickel and dime using Gilbert not as a slot CB but as a safety type player locked onto one of their TEs!!!
Look for Dangerfield to play more than he did verses the fins also!!!

I would not be surprised. Out of Gilbert's right total snaps, I believe five of them were lined up against Travis Kelce: "Baby Gronk" as Chiefs fans call him.

In addition... he looked quite well in said role even after giving up a touchdown late in that Chiefs game; a touchdown that was essentially stat padding due to the garbage time.

Now, how many snaps will Gilbert play? Who knows for sure. If that Chiefs game is any indication though... we could see his highest snap count of the season in a game.

Well, considering that they often manned Gilbert up on Kelce the last time we faced a dangerous receiving TE, you're not exactly paving new ground with your prediction. So, while I tend to agree that we will see a fair amount of Gilbert matched up with TEs Sunday, I heard it first from watching the game vs KC a few weeks ago.

They didn't often man him up vs the Chiefs as he didn't play significant snaps , somewhere around 10 I think...

But you are right in reckoning the inspiration of my statement, good job!!

Given Burns' recent struggles we may see that mark.
