Harrison is one of our best run stoppers, and best OLB pass rusher, yet they don't seem to be playing him that much. I am not sure why. He should be starting in my opinion.

As for Jarvis....I mean he had the pick in the one game but he looks like a fish with his head cut off almost all the time. It has long been time for him to play like an NFL quality player. He needs to be replaced next year.

Out of everything that went wrong today that's what you pick out, Jarvis Jones?
Nobody on Defense did anything and you single him out?
    What about Moats or Chikillo?

They were getting a big push along the offensive line but that is what the Fins get them going one way and a patient running back to cut it back.

This defense will see some changes next year. Harrison, Timmons and Jarvis Jones will be gone.

They pick on Jarvis because he is a 1st round pick and the expectations are that he should be a freak who tackles guys 10 yards behind the line of scrimmage with a deep breathe

Time of possession in a muggy almost 90 degree Miami heat...

The Defense actually did a pretty good job for the most part, but they can't sustain it when the offense isn't matching...

Yeah I know and it's getting old.
Accept him for what he is.
Moats isn't playing any better, but do they crap on him in every other thread?
    It's tired.

Moats was a 6th round pick made by another team. Of course fans are going to single out a guy who in general hasn't lived up to first round expectations. As for today, I haven't rewatched the game yet, but JJ was far down the list of things to be critical about.

When the front line is below par, the linebackers are going to be less impactful.

I agree for the most part, but JJ is in his 4th year. Time to let it go already.

Steelers Glen, I'm with you on the others aint doing much, but do you watch Jarvis ,he just pisses you off, he does nothing but get swallowed up by every blocker he goes against, he looked so slow when he was chasing the running back on that long run, Chikilo and Moats you don't expect much considering their pedigree but Subway commercial Jarvis EFFIN Jones, cant ever for once in his career do something, get one sack, game 6 in year 4 and he cant get one sack cmon man why u got so much love for that dude

I don't have so much love for him. I don't care where he was drafted at this point. Either you're good at your job or your not. He's doing ok this year. Who's doing anything better? That's the point.

that's the problem. I agree it gets old to single him out but I don't think it would be so repetitive if we had a few OLB doing the job of pressuring the QB. Colbert said about JJ "a special, great player - most important he can get after the passer". That has not materialized. We rely on the draft to get pass rushers and this miss has hurt the team.

Any news if Dupree could be back November 6th?

I was at the game today and focused a lot on Javis. He was awful and diserves the criticism, along with Timmons. All the big running plays were on Javis's side and to top that we have Arti Burns on that side who is not a good tackler yet. This makes for a bad combination on that side of the field. Javis couldn't get away from his blocks all day and he shouldn't be back on the team next year.

Timmons was just as bad and has really slowed down this year.

Defensive game planning was just as horrible as offensive game plan. No blitzing, no pressure, no hurries. Tanerhill never got his uniform dirty and I think he never hit the ground.

I thought JJ had some of the best hustle out there today...I saw a few good hustle plays...which is a few more than I saw from anyone else

JJ got caught inside a lot today, and then gave up long runs on his side. He just can't off his blockers.

Landry Jones may take some of the heat off JJ hopefully for only a week or so
