We're playing the run now like we play the pass; wait until an 8 yard gain before initiating contact. Brutal, inexcusable coaching.

Hard to believe this team can look so good and then so bad. No middle ground.

No really though, the game is over. Complete melt down again. When the collective eam repeatedly falls flat you know there is a cultural shortcoming in that locker room.

And I really miss watching good defense...

Maybe their is some truth to what Ben was saying this week. The practices are too physical leading to enormous amounts of injuries. No excuse though, but just goes to show how frustrating it is to watch this. Players dropping like flies and being out coached in every aspect of the game. We have no answer for their play calling. Gase is a very good play caller. He is able to see the wholes. Haley is throwing spaghetti on the wall and hoping it sticks. Pathetic today.

Sadly, both Philly game and this game...we quit. Something Steeler teams don't usually do.

I am not a fan of the 4-3 defense because of the versatility of the 3-4 or the 2-4 but I think it's time to put 4 down lineman on the line.

We look out of shape. Everyone always seems to be gasping for air. I think we have read to many press clippings

I'm not surprised nor angry even though I was very optimistic during the week (shame on me:lolol:). Tomlin has been the coach for 9 years and he is no longer learning on the job, he is what he is. Not saying it should be accepted but it should come as no surprise to anybody. He may not be the worst coach in the league and things could be worse as far as coaches- however, I there is good argument he may not be the right coach for this team. Whether we like it or not we're likely stuck with him for another 20-30 years sink or swim.

This is why the Steelers need homefield in the playoffs. These last two road performances have been inexcusable whether they have key injuries or not.

Tomlin is a great coach in many ways...but his weaknesses continue to show themselves. He did not have this team ready today. This is a typical for him. Why dont we string together 11-12 win seasons several years in a row? Because we lose to teams like the Dolphins. This is what the Patriots never do.

I just assumed when Tomlin had the d all gathered up that he was telling them about a really good restaurant he knew of in the area.
