Chickillo starting LOLB?

So one site is reporting that Chickillo is the starting LOLB this week but it's a pay site that I'm not paying for. Does anyone have any info on this?

 

We release Jarvis already?

 

I thought Jarvis has been playing decent lately.

 

Seems as if Chickillo has progressed better than we thought..


I knew he could be a good pass rusher given how moronic Al Golden used him at Miami. How good can he be will remain to be seen.

 

I don't think this changes anything really. I think this is simply a reward for his sack and FF last week. I doubt he plays that much more. He also is a Miami grad. Doesn't hurt for him to play in front of fans that cheered him on from college.

Need to get him more reps and he deserves it. Also need to get him more reps because I feel he will be taking Jarvis Jones spot next season.

 

If Ckickillo is our Starting OLB next year I think that says more about our lack of talent at the position than his ability.
I like him, and he's the next man up on a roster that's all but set for this season. He's not the answer for a starting OLB for us. He and Moats are about the same, back ups at the best.

Dupree getting hurt didn't help things this year.

Like it or not if we're not drafting a OLB next year we're better off trying to keep Jarvis Jones. He may not have lived up to the level of a 1st round pick, but he's still twice the OLB that Chick is.

agreed pretty much with all of this. OLB is obviously the weak link in our defense, JJ, moats, chickillo are awesome backups... but thats it. JH92 is basically a strength coach at this point, yet can outproduce them.
