We get Nix back this week and reports are Gilbert, Shazier, and Golden all have a chance to play. Next week we could finally get Green also.

That's all good news. 4 starters back in the mix would be great! As long as we have all 4 by the New England game tho I'd be happy.

I would say they should leave Shazier and Golden on the bench until New England game. Dangerfield and especially Williams are kicking butt. Should just make sure those two get healthy. It would be nice to see Dangerfield to get more reps too, because we could use him in some cover 3 versus new England.

Getting the likes of Golden, Shazier, Nix, Gilbert (both) and Rodgers will certainly help out.

Best of all.. Pittsburgh is getting healthy at the right time before the halfway point of the season. Should Pittsburgh win out before the bye... the AFC could be theirs to lose.... or to win..

That's great. Do wish we had Heyward for NE.

Just hold him out until week 9 so he's fully healthy. That will give him enough time to get hurt again and be back by the playoffs.

Keep shazier out of the miami game, need him for the patriots, and the only way to beat NE is with big pressure on brady, and man coverage on the slots edelman/amendola, and gronk of course, without it brady will pick this soft zone apart........

Green said today he is ready to go. So we are getting everyone back.

How are we getting everyone back?
Green won't play for a week or two.
Heyward is out. Wheaton looks like he's out. Shazier, M. Gilbert, Wallace, and Thomas didn't practice today.

Green says he's going next week. Shazier could be back next week since he did practice some this week and said the knee felt good. Gilbert will be back next and Heyward is shooting for next week also and after playing through the high ankle sprain I believe him. Rogers will be back next week. Nix is back this week. So I would say we are "getting" healthy.

It's the dolphins who we have will be fine. Maybe if they go in there beat up they won't play like ass. We are still getting there.

Edit: just read Rogers is back.

TE Green is the most intriguing for me. We have yet to see him play so there are a lot of questions. Really love what Jesse and Xavier are doing so far, but if Green adds to that even more, all the better.

Do you guys think David Johnson gets cut to make room or someone else? Especially with Nix coming back as well, who can serve as an extra blocker.

Justin Gilbert was a full go today.

More than likely Grimble. Johnson's snap totals are higher than his; 25.22% to 21.36.

Classic numbers game. I think Grimble heads back to the practice squad.

All the more reason I stated getting healthy at the right time is key to a championship push.

Personally though I would not rush him. Reaggrivating an MCL, or any knee ligament, should not be in Shazier's plans.

If he is still injured by the time New England comes around, I would sit him. Let him fully recover. Besides Vince has been doing admirably in his absence.

With Gronk and Bennett I would feel a lot better with Shazier out there. This isn't baseball he is healthy enough to play then I say let him play.

You are correct. This is not baseball. American Football is easily the most violent sport in North America. Injuries are going to happen regardless.

However.. something like a knee ligament is nothing to play around with. If such a ligament is aggrivated... leave it be. Not doing so increase the chances of a tear; something Shazier really does not need given his potential 5th year option pick up.

No I agree if it's not right let him sit but if he is healthy enough to go you let him go.

Big if. Aggrivated MCL recoveries can vary.
