Flacco gets another OC fired

The great thing is that now they'll have trouble getting anyone good, since they know they'll just be the next scapegoat.

 

I don't see why they would fire Trestman. I mean he called their patented "throw it up and hope for a flag" play yesterday. It didn't work and they lost so I guess that was the last straw. I'm sure their next OC will have that play in his book as well.

 

I caught part of the Rats-Skins game yesterday. The Ravens were running well and then for some reason decided to pass for 46 attempts. It made no sense.

 

Do not think Trestman's replacement will be much better.


Either way.. Flacco's failures have a lot more to do about what is around him than others think. If a team is relying on an elder statesman for a wide receiver for example, there are more issues than the quarterbacks level of play....


... well that and Flacco really is not as "Elite" as some made him out to be years ago.

 

You would think against one of the NFL's worst run defenses that John Harbaugh would continue to use something that works. That just did not appear to be the case.

 

There's nothing elite about Flacco whatsoever. He has a huge arm, that's it. He's mediocre

 

I agree, shaner. Flacco isn't anything special and never was, in my opinion. He was fortunate to have a good defense.
