Anyone know if Shazier is playing this week or is the fragile little snowflake still out?? I watched this guy every week at OSU and do not remember him getting hurt so often.

He's not playing this week. And hey Internet tough guy let's see you slam into 300 pound men and not get destroyed.
Do you think the guy wants to be hurt?

Just the opposite, I don't think any of them want to "get hurt". I am just stating the fact that while he was an ironman for the Buckeyes, he always seems to get hurt. Some guys just get snake bit with injuries.

I was speaking more to the point of you calling him a fragile little snowflake.

After the effort Vince Williams put forth last week, there is no reason to rush Shazier back, let him get healthy.
His #1 asset is his speed, if he's not 100% with his speed don't put him out there. I'd rather have a 100% Wllliams than a 75% Shazier in the lineup.

I do not think Ryan Shazier will play this week. At any point though... it is going to be more difficult for Colbert and Tomlin to pick up that fifth year option.

No surprise that he's hurt again to be honest, he can hardy get through a whole game without getting hurt at some point.

We need Shazier healthy in January. Williams will be good until Shazier is 100%.

sorry but he's a bust. He is great but what good is he if he can't stay on the field? I know it's not his fault but his body is not made for football. Like a kamikaze statue made out of peanut brittle.

For someone with "a body not made for football", he's got pretty far, no?

Injury prone, yes, so far anyway.

Bust? No, can't agree with you there. He's a difference maker when he's on the field.

He's not a bust yet. But I do agree with Colin Cowherd when he says "your #1 ability is availability."

just stirring the pot but it does hold some truth. He is a phenomenal athlete, top in his game. What good is he if he just implodes every game lol. I will say this, if somehow age helps him out then that would be awesome. I do also understand that injuries happen to all teams.

Absolutely hate this. Could be an all pro if he stays on the field. Think he needs to put on more weight to keep from being injured, but how much speed does he lose if he does that? Hopefully his tackling and positioning will adapt to the NFL.

Damn... Gotta bring up bell. He was a stud! Too bad, lots of folks left lots of rewards on the field due to that damn injury bug.

You would think adding weight would help his overall frame. I doubt it would zap much of his speed. Playing speed is a bit different than 40 speed. Even if a few lbs costed him a tick it wouldn't show up on tape I'd imagine. Nor can I say with certainty that him adding padding bulking up etc wouldn't help further his injury risk... Things are just weird that way. Wish him the best at shaking the stigma he is a game changer when healthy.

Can't imagine why they don't move him to the outside. With his speed, you'd think he'd be a natural pass rusher around those slow tackles. Not big enough for inside taking on guards.

Why not make him an X factor DB? He is a rare talent. Free him up to line up all over the place and run around like Troy did. He is being ground down on the inside.

As of now I would not re-sign him when his contract is up. It's a shame, because he's a dynamic play maker when he's out there.
