they took a beating after the philliy game and some was deserved but I want to give them props when the team plays like they are capable of.

the players get no heat when they suck and coaches do so when the players play well I think we all need to step back and realize we have a top coach.jmo

These next two weeks will say a lot about the state of the Steelers. Jets and Dolphins are teams like the Bucs, Raiders teams that beat Steelers, '15 Ravens, Browns, etc. These are teams the Steelers should beat on paper... but fall short to when the rubber hits the road.

Yes...they do get called out for getting out coached...so in the same aspect...they deserve props for calling and getting the players to execute a great game plan

I think it was a well coached game. And it seemed as though Haley took something from the Eagles game. He had quite a few different plays he was running out of a tackle eligible set. Philly was doing that with great success the week prior.
Also, I don't think it can ever be understated how important Munchak is. Finney played way better than I thought he could. And he seems to have everyone ready to play, no matter how far down on the depth chart they are.

I believe they took alot of criticism from the coaching staff which helped in bringing them around. Cam Heyward actually apologized to Art Rooney for the Philly loss. He knew they sucked on ever level possible. They watched alot of film of the Philly game and got reamed out by Tomlin.

We have seen time and time again under the Tomlin era where this team can play down to the competition. We have also seen some inconsistencies from one week to the next as witnessed these past 2 weeks.

Hopefully this team was shamed enough by the Eagles debacle that we finally put the past in the past and moved forward with how this team can put the hammer down and go for the jugular right from the beginning and not let off the throttle.

We have seen the best and the worst from this organization in just 2 short weeks. This game coming up will speak volumes about their competition level.

What I liked about the gameplan by the coaches is they knew if they jumped on the Chiefs early, their offense wasn't capable of coming back in this game.

I think we have a good coaching staff. I hate the whole comparison to Belichick, too much envy-itas around here for my liking.

Say what you want about Tomlin but last year may have been his best coaching job yet and I think a lot of teams would like to have Munch, Haley and Mann on their sidelines. Even Lake doesn't get enough credit, IMO. Gay, Golden, Cockrell, Mitchell are doing very well and look what Dangerfield did in his NFL debut.

They need to put away teams under .500, eliminate that wart and I'll match this coaching staff up against anyone.

you know, im kinda worried about this game. Here is why

    -Jets are a losing team
    - We just came off a big high win
    - Fitz is 0-24 on the road vs .500 teams and above
    - Reading the jets forums NOBODY believes the jets will win
    - Vegas is putting the odds extremely in our favor
    - Our O line does not match well vs their D line

Trust me fellas if our coaching can recognize how bad this is a trap game we should win. Take it lightly and jets might pull desperation "LOL's" and we will be 3-2.

I think we have a good coaching staff (for about 12 games) a year.
