    What adjustments were you seeking?

Stop with the soft coverages. Wrap up on tackles. It just seemed like we got ate up all day and never showed any real grit.

Tomlin disappoints me. Just when I feel like I could have his back he goes and plants a land mine to blow up that thought completely.

Gee, I'm sure glad I didn't spend $275 to go so see this game in person...Oh wait, I did! I never remember ever going to a game where I had absolutely nothing to cheer for before this one. It was just embarrassing.

Wrapping up on tackles is an adjustment?

Soft coverages? What do you mean by that?

There #1 WR had 2 catches for 19 yards. Their #2 WR had 3 for 21. For all the unwarranted complaints about our CBS, they did their job (outside of Burns missed tackles).

Blame our front line for getting dominated up front and gashed in the run game

Blame our LBers for being completely unable to handle their RB/TE work.

Blame Ben for a terrible game

blame the online for falling apart.

    Coaches not adjusting? Lazy argument

In today's game it would have been an adjustment to tackle. We just stood back on defense and let Wentz just throw it to whomever at will. We let guys catch it all day at will. There just never seemed to be any moment in the game, on either side of the ball, where it looked like we thought we might should try something different.

If you listen to Tomlin's presser he mentioned how bad the tackling was multiple times. I didn't even mention the stupid penalties we also committed.

A 2 year old could see the tackling was terrible. I mentioned it multiple time.

But tackling has nothing to do with a coaching staff "making adjustments", it has to do with players doing their jobs.

"Ok guys, here's the adjustments we are going to make... Instead of the game plan calling for missing numerous tackles, we'd like to switch it up and try tackling"

How many times have we seen the arm tackling this year. It was in jest to say that tackling would have been an adjustment but what's sadly true is that we really have poorly tackled quite a bit this year and in the past few years.

This team is average, period. Wentz is a good rookie QB.. but Denver has one too in Siemian. Everybody seems worried about the Patriots winning... hell... the Broncos have a great defense which shut the Bengals offense down in their own house.

Steelers will be outside looking in again this year. Broncos and Patriots will own the top 2 seeds again. The window is closing for Roethlisberger. It's a shame the offense is not as advertised and the Steelers remain in rebuilding mode on defense. Nowhere near championship caliber. Bell will be gone next year... and the Steelers will have to spend a #1 or #2 round draft pick on a RB. Other pick will obviously have to be OLB again. Basically, the 2013 draft revisited... OLB in the 1st, RB in the 2nd.

it's not over but not looking good. Ben doesn't have the time to rebuild, its win now. It's a shame our potheaded friends cant give up the weed and constant drafts on D are not working out.

I pulled up the stats, ect.. for the Eagles game in '08. It was bad... but we had a championship caliber D that held the Eagles to 15 points. We won the Super Bowl that year. This year we have a below average defense and an inconsistent offense. Not exactly a recipe for success.

Who is in charge of preparing players to play, putting them in a position to succeed? LOL
Players also need to look in the mirror,

At least this does not affect the tiebreakers.

If this were the Kansas City game... I wonder how bad people like blunt force's meltdown would be like considering those games hold far more value.

    Slow your roll, haters...

Yes, that was a meltdown of epic proportions...

And OBVIOUSLY, I HATED watching that ass-whipping, that I didn`t expect...

What I did notice in the aftermath, was a team coming together, in the locker room, afterwords, and holding themselves accountable...

Not blaming the other side of the ball, or injuries to most of our defensive backfield, mistakes by the offense...or any other excuses...

Pretty much to a man, they said...

"We ALL have to do our jobs better, and figure out how to fix this, because if we keep playing like this, we aren`t gonna win any games"...

They are FOCUSED... And I think this bitter pill in week 3, might lead to less over-confidence, and "playing down" to teams they "expect" to
    beat...

And that`s a sign of good coaching, from Tomlin, on down to the rest of the coaching staff...

And good "chemistry" in the locker room...

NO, I didn`t expect the worst loss since 1989, (I read that tidbit, and I`m guessin it was when the Clowns whooped us 51-0 on opening day, but I`m not sure)..

My point is, in the first 2 games, we didn`t beat ourselves... this game, we made a lot of mistakes against a quality opponent.

We might have been a little cocky...

I`m pretty sure we won`t make that mistake again..

I expect the rest of the season to look like the Super Bowl contenders, that we are...

Not to throw games away like this, because we "expect to win"...

I`m glad this "slap in our face" came early in the season...

If that doesn`t serve as a wake up call, nothing will...

I wouldn`t wanna be in a Kansas City uniform, next Sunday night...

I got a feeling we are gonna take our frustrations out on them in prime time!!!!

    GO STEELERS!!!!:herewego!::dfense::steelflag::herewego!:
