I'm starting to think its more the system with the Patriots on offense.

Its all timed out and the progressions and checkdowns are predetermined to make it super simple.

Simples gonna take them to 19-0 it seems. Considering they're getting it done with QB "who?"s

We know if Big Ben went down the odds of us winning games is in the toilet.

I knew Real Steel was the Patsies troll all along. Probably one of those costumed men in the endzone firing off the guns after every score.

It was primarily their defense and special teams that won the game tonight for them. Not their offense.

We need to make sure we are executing at an elite level in that phase of the game and we should be alright

They are going 4-0 until Brady comes back, then they will start playing poorly and Brady will be benched, that is the note his career will end on. This is a fact. I know, I dreamed it last night. And we all know dreams are clear and precise.

Kinda funny I was talking with my sons last night watching the game.....most of the game couldn't take watching the Cheats anymore. I was saying Belacheat it the best coach, yeah he does things to get an edge but the man can coach......HE IS STILL AN *******!!!!! The other thing I am laughing about is right now we have in the NFL 3 rookie qb's that have had success as of right now. Wentz, Prescott and now Brissett which I find funny cause all/most of the talking heads during the draft said this years group of qb's weren't that good. Crap I think it was talked about here, it just goes to show you that it isn't just about how good you are but also where you land. I will put my money on Keesler stinking up the joint this weekend for the Clowns.

Hard to believe the Cheat just made the Texans look that bad, I was never a Brock Asswiper fan. He couldn't keep is job in Denver with a totally washed up Manning there. The Texans have a decent defense, yeah Watt is not 100% but they are still decent. They have a lot of weapons and the Cheat shut them down....with a 3rd string qb!!!!!! These assholes are gonna be hard to beat this year.......

Let me start off by saying...that I don't like the cheat....just like I don't like the ravens. But , what I have seen for over a decade now, is the System of the Pats. That System makes the Coach,Qb,and any castaway that was given up on or just any ordinary Joe off the street...look like pro bowler or a hall of famer.
Their resume is very impressive...you cant argue that point.
So, we have seen the NFL defenses defend the west coast, run and shoot, wildcat, running qbs, and any and everything that has come about...but these talented defenses over the years have never quite tackled "The System"
So which one has the most longevity...
The Talented Team or The System?!

Well I am not quite sure I understand your question. I feel the system is the key and here is why. These players don't make it to the NFL if they don't have some kind of talent....put them in a system that works and they will do good. We use to see that here not to the extreme as the Cheats but with some. Look right now DHB couldn't play for anyone and he has been ok here, go back to Farrior who was done as a Jet and shined here. Dwill now and Eric Peagram to name a few in our backfield. Batch and Lefty had nice seasons for us as well. I know I missed a few more but this is just off the top of my head while at work. How many players had ok seasons here to get signed to a bigger contracts elsewhere and end up not living up to the contract and/or being cut?

What I am getting at is you take a player who gets drafted by the bottom barrel teams say like the Clowns and they don't pan out but hey they have talent. Send them to a good/stable team and they turn out ok. JMO Not sure if that answered your question, but I say System which is the coach and organization mixed with talent for the player......

houston didn't look very interested last night. part was the cheats but part was lack luster play from the other team. they wern't hitting, they wern't gang tackling, they were turning the ball over on special teams, all of this led to a bad game by them. when you play the cheats you better bring the will to beat them up or you won't stand a chance. you bring your A game and play physical with them and they become pretty average. they will try to take your stars out of their game so everybody else has to play top notch.

you have to bring things they haven't seen you do. they practice and game plan for what you do best. you have to bring them something they aren't ready for. then at some point during the game you better change it again because they will adjust. we brought a different look on defense the last time we beat them and they weren't ready for it. they did adjust as the game went on though.

I can't remember the stat I heard this morning but it was something like in Bray's time there the Pats have run the option a total of 3 times and last night they ran it 7. That says a lot in my opinion about the coaching and how to use the strengths of a player and end up with good results........damn I am getting sick with all this good crap coming out of my mouth/fingertips...........

Its not the system, belichick just prepares better than anyone else, he zeros in on your weakness and exploits it and his teams don't make mistakes, everyone is where they are supposed to be. Bills mantra is do your job, and when everyone is in position doing their job, the results are you usually win.

If it were the system, Jacoby would have thrown for 400 yards, 4 TD's instead of 103 yards and 0 TD's.

Houston played like hot garbage, a Jones/Vick tandem would have beat them.

NE's most impressive win so far has been against Arizona.

I agree with most if not all of this however my statement is Belicheat is the system! Let's face it Brady is not gonna run the option and Brissitt is not gonna throw for 400 yrds. But Belicheat will get the most out of his players and will play to a players strength.

I think there are about 4 teams with the defenses, besides us that can beat them, Denver, jets, seahawks in november and the ravens in december, last year they lost to the broncos, eagles, jets and dolphins, so they will lose some games this year.....

I think we just have a difference of what system means. System to me means you plug any QB in and they play lights out.

A system isn't something you change from week to week like how NE does, thats just preparation and identifying teams weaknesses and attacking it.
