I don't see us running well vs them like against the skins. I think their secondary is good too. How do we rattle Dalton?

If our coaches change the scheme to attack their weakness I will be impressed. This is a big test for us to see how we really stand.

Well here are my 3 keys

    1.keep ben upright(duh)
    2. shut the running game down
    3. capitalize on turnovers

    let's hear yours

The Jets rushed for 152 yards against the bungles, the jets was close to winning that game, the difference maker was AJ Greens 10 catches for 180 yards, and that was against revis having an off day, our Oline should block well enough for D Will and he should have another 100 plus yard day, morning line has us as a 4 point favorite....

I think we have to run a lot of PA and use Eli and Outlaw in the middle a lot to open up space for AB/Coates and Wheaton on the outside if he is ready?

On D we will have to play more man coverage and blitz more we will probably give up more big plays, but we won't be able to set in those zones as much ...

I think AB is going to have a big day. He's going to play with a chip on his shoulder.

Need to stop AJ Green, also watch out for Boyd, he's a Pittburgh kid played at Pitt. He'll want to have a big game too.

Steelers will need to blitz a little more to get Dalton rattled.

Jets also tore it up running it, so be prepared for some more D-Will.

All are possible except stop AJ ...AJ went off on Revis whether it was a off day for him or not ? Our CB'S can't guard him he will have a huge day...

I think Ross is serviceable and good for depth, but not so sure he's a starter at this level. He sure dropped an easy INT last night as well.

And he got burnt it was a bad ball, he also got trucked on 2 or 3 tackles. He took at least 4 or 5 bad angles ..His depth in zone coverage was way off as well...I really don't even want him for depth..

Limit big plays. Cinci would have easily been beaten by the JETS if they didn't execute a few big plays.

Conversely I think we should go after their corners deep early. We take an early lead and make them one dimensional it's in the bag.

They will be coming for Ben. He makes mistakes when he's pressured. Sure he might be one of the best at escaping pressure but look at Ben's mistakes. They almost always happen when he starts forcing into coverage while getting pressure. Turnovers will decide this game if we let it.

Three keys to beating the Bengals.

    1. Limit AJ Green
    2. Limit AJ Green
    3. Limit AJ Green

Say what you want about IKe but what he did really well was limit AJ Green catches. AJ would Not have big days with Ike shadowing him. Not sure how we're going to stop him with our personnel. Definetly will have to be double teamed.

We can triple Team him with our guys and he is still going to have a big day ..I hope our new CB'S get ready soon , but they probably wont be ready for this game ...We still need much more skill at that position on the field..

The Bungles are a total diff. animal and what Pittsburgh faced Monday Night. That nfc game is history yet was fun. Steelers are meeting an afc team that knows Pittsburgh way too well. You can bet your *** a.m. this morn The Bungles already had the 7, 34,17,84 etched in their minds and will try and find away to decimate the foursome. As someone mentioned.. a good test it will be! There's nothing like throwing punches at your division early in the season.

:dfense:<< Give us something to smile about!!

    Pressure Dalton early and often.

Run D Will between the tackles and play action off of it.

    Double cover Green.

AJ went off on Revis, when Revis was in man on him most of the day. And your solution is to take that approach (man) with Cockrell or Gay?

    you're doing it wrong...

You seem to know that our CBs can't cover him in man, but you don't want us to use zone....

    brilliant

TY it is brilliant we need to play a 3rd. kind of Defense it's called man/zone ..We can't allow him the free release that the zones give him and we can't match up 1 0n 1 either ...No I would like to go man with Burns or Gilbert with different types of zones behind it...

You just described double coverage, which is ironic since you previously said we could "triple cover AJ and it wouldn't matter".

If you don't have a corner capable of jamming a WR like AJ, then it is idiotic to try. Every time you lose that jam, you lose the matchup. and instead of your off man/zone corner tackling a 5 yard reception, your safety would be tackling a 12 yard reception.

And if you bother to watch the ALL 22 tape, you'll see we run a lot of Off Man with a safety over the top. Ironically, we did a lot of what you want us to do. And we were succesful doing it. But you don't actually see us running it (you just assume we are in zone because... cushions!), so you think we suck... even though we were successfull.... what a silly conundrum you are

We ran a lot of cover 3 zone which is not the same as man/zone to me ...A true man/zone to me is a boxing 1 what the skins should have done to AB I am done talking to you, i don'yt think you have ever played a single snap of Football in your life..Yes you know the language you have the fntast spin , but the way you dismiss my knowledge shows you have never been on a field and actually played...

The Steelers ran a lot of more complex coverages. They weren't simply in cover 3.

    Take the Reed INT.
You've got Cockrell at the line with Man Bail on the Split End, and Harrison coming underneath in the under zone
You've got the Nickel playing Inside Leverage to take the other under zone, passing the Flanker WR off to the Cover 3 CB Gay, and passing Reed to Shazier in man.

I don't need my football resume to talk for me.
