So not sure but I don't think we had more than 4 penalties all night thrown against us and if you don't count AB's nightclub moves its one less. Whatever the final number was we played a good game without a lot of penalties. That is something I hope the coaching staff brings up.

    Holding: Jesse James

Block in the back: Mike Mitchell

    Not much I think of.

Wow. .this is what efficiency looks like. And we still held them to 16pts with our cb's... Wow

The Pass Interference call was BS I don't think Cockrell could have played that any better. Real time it looked like interference but the slow motion replay showed he never interfered and basically the ref flagged it because he didn't track the ball.

If cockrell had turned around...he could've actually intercepted the ball. He never turned around...that's what they got him for

yeah but it was a beautiful play. He didn't interfere with the WR's legs or body, he don't foul his running, run up the back of him, grab him or his equipment, obstruct him in anyway, keep his hands from being able to catch the ball. Cockrell sees him begin to set his arms to cradle the ball and inserts his arm beneath the guys neck but over his outstretched hands without touching them and allows the ball to hit his arm knocking it down into the receivers hands and prevents a clean catch. Other than turn and track the ball which would have led to him bumping into the WR I don't think he could have done anything better.

I noticed the lack of penalties as well. Chalk it up to a disciplined team or maybe it's because Washington is not a hated rival. I think you see a big difference come this Sunday.

I live about an hour from Cincinnati, so of course a lot of my co-workers are interpreting this not as the Steelers being disciplined or more poised, but as love from the NFL. One of them actually come up to me yesterday morning and said, "Looks like the Steelers are the new darlings of the NFL like the Patriots and are going to have all the calls go their way."

It cracks me up how everyone sees the same things so differently depending on who their favorite team is.
