What´s your lucky ritual?

My dirty lucky ritual: washing the Terrible Towel once a year. And today is the day!!!!!!!

 

Wow, that must stink!
Hope it has a long season of waving ahead, all the way through February!

Yea, What?

I had my 3 Terrible Towels with the original dating back to the first year. Never been washed.

 

I just put on my lucky underwear. Gonna keep them on until we win the Super Bowl.

 

I put out my Steelers flag the morning of the game, I drink out of a Steelers coffee cup on the mornings of any day we have a game during the season. For example, today will be the last monday morning that I have to drink out of a Steelers cup. I put on my Ben jersey and grab my (filthy) TT no sooner than 5 minutes before kickoff.

 

After reading a different post, my new ritual will be to set fire to a punter before each game!

 

turning off the sound and watching the game in silence. Been doing this since the 1970's, especially during road games.

 

Must be wearing steelers apparel, but not until less than an hour until game time. TT never touches the ground, for any reason.

 

I was stuck at work tonight. Nicely tucked my Steelers shirt in for the work place compliance. After the first qtr. The Steelers were losing 0-6. Said F it and un-tucked my shirt. The rest is history and so is tucking in my shirt anymore.

 

I wore my Hoge jersey for the Saints preseason game and the first team offense was near godlike. I wore it again today and we saw the imposing of the will not seen since Bettis heyday. I think it will be the go to this year. plus the Terrible Towel I wore out during the Stanley Cup playoffs and victory.

 

not many rituals for me, but I'll refrain from talking sh*t to other fans of the team we're playing. Seems to always backfire for me.

 

I never watch pre-game shows ever.
