I think his suspension starts with the first 4 games, regardless of injury.

that doesn't sound right to me. I would think you have to be on the active roster for the four games to start otherwise it's not much of a punishment

Almost as funny as you pimping Manti Teo and Rolando McClain to the Steelers . The media said when a team takes a draft pick that low for a player they were going to release him, the Browns were desperate to get anything in return for Gilbert.

I stand by both those picks...and I was not laughing at you...sorry if it came off that way...just laughing at the fact that it was said just before a trade happened.

and I do think they were going to cut him...but he then goes to the waiver wire...they wanted him..they went and got him. I love the deal

Funny? McClain went from hopeless to comeback player of the year in Dallas IIRC. Just sayin'. The Browns were most likely going to cut him, but spending a future 6th for a player you want and think will contribute now is a good move IMO.

Look at McClain now though facing a 10 game suspension, no thanks he's a knucklehead.

Bell is on that same train...you willing to give him another chance? Bryant is already gone for the season....I might be alone but I will welcome him with open arms in 2017.

I said the same thing in an earlier thread and got a dislike tag...lol ..look, we have our own issues with talented problem children. We're pretty much stuck between a rock and a hard place with Bell but not with Bryant. Bringing in Gilbert, mind you, who hasn't been suspended or played one snap for us, or even been a locker room cancer....for a 6th rd pick in 2018...is well worth the risk.
