Per ESPN, Should the Steelers look into it? I would give them Steven Johnson or Matakevich and a late round pick.

Just a late round pick should be enough.

We definitely need another CB who isn't currently on our roster. We need to find the next Ross Cockrell. I see Zack Sanchez is being released by Carolina.

If they cut him he will be a free agent, theres no big money involved because he is under the rookie salary cap, teams are probably wondering why they have him in their dog house that would have them trying to trade him during training camp, they want that two pick back but thats unlikely to happen, will they cut him is the big question of the day.......

They have until 4PM ET today to pull that off and the clock is ticking so they have about 5 and a half hours to get it done, but who are we going to cut that is of equal value???

If they're trying to trade him that hard, and they're considering cutting him, then "equal value" is very subjective. Think Barkevious Mingo for a5th rounder.

Eagles just dumped Bradford to the Vikings and got a 1st rounder out of it so they may go for a garbage deal to just get rid of Rowe

So which way is better? Trade a 5th for him or wait until the deadline is over and hope they cut him? Now, if they cut him...there's still no guarantee that he will come to steeltown ...right?

Correct. But after last years cornerback for a 5th rounder deal for a player out of the league now, I'd rather part with a cast-off then toss them a draft pick.

My apologies. I didn't realize (read into that: care) that the Bears had picked him up after the Panthers cut him.

And with the Justin Gilbert trade, this thread becomes moot.

Moot thread now, but I wouldn't have been interested in Rowe anyways. Never liked him as a CB. Now who knows what the deal is with Gilbert... He could very well bust out, but of the two I like the guy we chose

I'd still take him in a heartbeat if the price is right. If Davis, Artie, Gilbert and hypotheticaly Rowe, live up to their billing, the weakest unit on the team would become the strongest.

With only 4 active players I expect they may yet claim a CB.
