Apparently the Vikings have acquired same Bradford from the eagles... they gave philly their 1st rd. Picks next yr. And an additional pick for 2018....
    Really?????
Bradford hasn't played a full season in his nfl career.. and they get Bridgewater back next season.... so basically they gave up a 1st rounder and another pick for a stop-gap qb....
    Somebody needs to get fired

I'm not sure how this will play out but the Vikings before losing their quarterback looked ready to seriously compete for a playoff run.
If Bradford can just stay healthy and manage the games it will have been a good move considering what choices were out there for a quarterback. I think they feel their first round pick will not be a high one unless they are completely misreading their chances this year.
You might be right and living up here in Viking land I'm sure I will get much more first hand information than I would ever care to get.

Bridgewater won't be ready to start next season, he did more than just tear his ACL. I still wouldn't give up a first round pick for Bradford, the Vikings feel they can make the playoffs this season.

Sam Bradford? When they could have gotten Manziell? Wow!
Seriously though, they need a QB. Sounds like a reach to give up that much for a Bradford.

My first thought was the same, and it definitely is a lot to give up for Bradford. However, with the team they have, the Vikings feel they can compete for the SB as long as they have an adequate QB. Teddy was nothing special, can be argued that Bradford is even an upgrade. Now he just has to stay healthy.

Man first they lose the great Mike Wallace and now they lose the perennial all star pro bowler Teddy Bridgewater. I guess Bradford is just a bridge over troubled waters. Get it?

I had thought early on (after Osweiler) the Eagles would move Sam Bradford, but I thought it would be
to Denver Broncos. When Bridgewater went down, the Vikes feel they have the makings of
a high caliber playoff team? I commend the Vikes organization for being pro active and getting
Sam Bradford. I personally don't like the guy but he is better than what they have without Bridgewater. AP all day.

The trade is confirming a bit more than possible Super Bowl contention. It is more about Teddy possibly being not ready for 2017 either if nerve damage was involved.

Spielman has confirmed that the 2nd year of Bradford's contract was a key for them in making the trade. They are concerned that Bridgewater may not be back in 2017.

Then we have both reached the same destination on the equation. We just took different detours.

I don't get it either. They could have had the "Butt Fumbler"!

I kid, but Greenie from Mike and Mike laid out the stats and he's got a little better stats and play-off wins over Bradford. Also, he's stayed healthier as well.....

I'm watching the Vikings vs Packers game, and Bradford has made some solid throws tonight in his first appearance with the team. They may end up being better with Bradford than they are with Teddy.

The Packers and Vikes are both getting after it with their defensive fronts.

Bradford was slinging it, but i'm still skeptical...... we'll see how well he does with defenses not having to worry about AP for a few weeks

He will do fine. He is going to lead the Vikings to the SB and lose to the Steelers.

Or when he plays a defense that decides to actually cover the WR that's lighting them up.

They were trying to cover him. He just beat the coverage and made some nice catches.
